Sure, Materazzi started it, but Zidane should have never reacted, he's experienced enough to know when not to let another player get on your nerves.

There are other ways to draw a foul without getting that physical. I have seen worse fouls before, which seem intentional.I forgot which teams they were, but it was NCAA and the guy was going up for a layup, the defender threw him down when he was in the air and i'm pretty sure he ended up breaking the other guy's elbow.
