Feel free to add the tidbits you have discovered as well.

Here are some of the things I have learned about Europe that might help the Euro noob.

HOTKEY BAR

They have added a hotkey bar that we dont have. Its rather cool.

It's located at the right hand side of your window and you can load skills or pots in them.

Image Image

OK so an explaination of how it works.

1: changes opacity. It can be black or clear as shown

2: Fixes the bar in place. You can put it where you want and fix it there.

3: Fixes the items in place. You wont accidently "drop" the icons off this bar.

4: Changes the configuation. You can have it like mine or in two rows, which is default. I like it this way.

How to use it:

You can use your mouse to click or space bar + a number. I made the bar long so that I could tell what number each square is easier. Those are my buffs for the group. Its easier to use control + number to select a party member then spacebar + number to select the buff.

SKILLS

These are my skills. lvl 26 Cleric atm.

Image

OK, you can see that they are grouped. THe top skill of each group is like a seperate mastery. You must level that one to get the ones underneath. They are passive, non active skills. THe Chinese dont really have this. You can select individual skills on whatever tree you like. You can see that I have a very low mastery level as well. You are limited in this as you level. It makes it MUCH harder to SP farm or maintain a mastery gap under the group conditions. Also, the skills cannot be used with another weapon. In CHina, you have spear and glaive with one skills tree and skills that work for both. Not so here. You must use each tree with its corresponding weapon.

GEAR

WOW so many differences here.

Here are two pieces of gear.

Image Image

The top is protector boots. You can see that its all white to me. THere are several lines with the number 26 at the end. THat means you must have a mastery of at least 26 in one of the types listed to wear it. The second is armor shoulder. You can see that the red line ending in 22. Whatever mastery that is (im sure its sword) I dont have it, so I cant wear that. Yes, it's also male. lol

Weapons are different too.

Image

THis is my weapon, a clerics wand.

Notice something missing?

Yeah, no crit, no physical dmg. Same with physical weapons. They have crit, but no magical dmg. That leaves a huge question. Is being a hybrid of any use in Euro?

MISC

WHen you put a cape on, your name is red. When you go purple, your name is red. It wears off the same, but there is no distinction.

A gold and silver ticket works in a shared party.

Until level 11 you can rez yourself using the second "wait for player to revive you" option.

Until level 20, you can reverse return via an NPC near the tele in Constantinople. It's the 2nd option to go where you died, third to where you last teled. I think... Gimme a break, Im a cleric, ppl make sure I dont die.

A blue icon next to a mob indicates a party monster. These have more HP and only aggro a shared party.

A gold crown indicates a quest mob. I need to explore this more. Im not sure why the only mobs I have seen it on are the centaurs. (who guard big flocks of sheep. lol Theyre funny looking)

As tempting as Euro soundz, im not sure if im gna play it until it officialy comes out in english. The whole fact that u dont understand what the Skillz, Quests and variouse other things kinda ruinz the game play for me... And ill be less intent to play it when i do understand it.

Most people wont change to an Euro char because they say.. "I cant be bothered to repeat and start all over again" well when changing over to Europe ur although starting from lvl 1, your doing something new. So its not as bad as Starting another LvL 1 Chi char.. because uve been there and done that...

However think about it, if u play Euro now, and lvl up ur char... Wait for the Euro release next year. then what? Start over again? I know all of you WILL do it, but inside u will be bored and fustrated...

So im just going wait for euro and enjoy what all of you show us :D

Ok, now I know how to configure the side bar.

The 3rd option takes you back to where you died. I know because I die a lot.

If anyone wants to do quest, just go to jangan and do the quest you already know.

I'm playing euro with friends since yesterday. I already found most of the things here except the reverse return ^^
It still can be really useful to those that just start and don't like experimenting.

Btw euro seems more team-based and balanced. Making XP on share party with each member his role is nice.
The animation details (when you cast a spell or use skill) seems higher than in chinese part.
And after a couple hours you don't even notice that there are question marks everywhere :D

Oh nice.Didn't know about that skillbar thingie.
I like how how it's team based and help each other..doesn't get boring fast like I do when I do solo in Isro.
I was going to do the quests, but everything became so confusing. Didn't which mob to kill and etc..

Lol, I'm in some of your SS NrTH XD

I noticed that the crit on weapons for pure str are AMAZING. I find crit 15-20 drops and they aren't even at 100%. This was my lvl 13 dagger

yes the question marks do seem to go away untill u try lvling ur skills :banghead: . but it is way worth it this game is so much better than iSRO. the party xp share feature is amazing (yes i know we have it too, but its just not the same.) i was in a party with some ppl from oasis last night and we had a couple tankers, a cleric, and 2 mages and it was soooo fun b/c we would go around attacking the same thing while the cleric healed us and the mages nuked. one more thing u should add o mighty gl mellisande: the pots in this game take 30 sec before u can use another one. u might moan and groan, but i like it better when ur in a pt. and it seems like u lvl really fast when ur in an exp share pt

Yeah it looks like it'll be a lot of fun. But I'm going to wait until we get it on iSRO (if we don't get it sometime next year I'll probably go to KSRO :P). By then Nightbloom and everyone else will have learnt a lot about how it works so I'll be able to put together a good build. :)

That's the reason I've never gone into the desert or the island on any foreign versions, when I go in I want it to be on our version where everythings all new, there's very little to look forward to in this game so there's no point in ruining things in advance cuz when you get it, the only difference will be a language change

It's good when you get a new quest and you see a new monster for the first time, if you saw it ages ago it's nowhere near as much fun.

It seems sp farming in euro is way easier than in china, too.

Does the 30 seconds pot delay apply for chinese character in KSRO as well? Or just on Euro character alone? The pot delay is for HP pot only, or both HP and MP pot?

I think they did that to promote teamplay and party system... because a healer or a harpist or whatever can heal more swiftley... :P
