Feel free to add the tidbits you have discovered as well.
Here are some of the things I have learned about Europe that might help the Euro noob.
HOTKEY BAR
They have added a hotkey bar that we dont have. Its rather cool.
It's located at the right hand side of your window and you can load skills or pots in them.
OK so an explaination of how it works.
1: changes opacity. It can be black or clear as shown
2: Fixes the bar in place. You can put it where you want and fix it there.
3: Fixes the items in place. You wont accidently "drop" the icons off this bar.
4: Changes the configuation. You can have it like mine or in two rows, which is default. I like it this way.
How to use it:
You can use your mouse to click or space bar + a number. I made the bar long so that I could tell what number each square is easier. Those are my buffs for the group. Its easier to use control + number to select a party member then spacebar + number to select the buff.
SKILLS
These are my skills. lvl 26 Cleric atm.
OK, you can see that they are grouped. THe top skill of each group is like a seperate mastery. You must level that one to get the ones underneath. They are passive, non active skills. THe Chinese dont really have this. You can select individual skills on whatever tree you like. You can see that I have a very low mastery level as well. You are limited in this as you level. It makes it MUCH harder to SP farm or maintain a mastery gap under the group conditions. Also, the skills cannot be used with another weapon. In CHina, you have spear and glaive with one skills tree and skills that work for both. Not so here. You must use each tree with its corresponding weapon.
GEAR
WOW so many differences here.
Here are two pieces of gear.
The top is protector boots. You can see that its all white to me. THere are several lines with the number 26 at the end. THat means you must have a mastery of at least 26 in one of the types listed to wear it. The second is armor shoulder. You can see that the red line ending in 22. Whatever mastery that is (im sure its sword) I dont have it, so I cant wear that. Yes, it's also male. lol
Weapons are different too.
THis is my weapon, a clerics wand.
Notice something missing?
Yeah, no crit, no physical dmg. Same with physical weapons. They have crit, but no magical dmg. That leaves a huge question. Is being a hybrid of any use in Euro?
MISC
WHen you put a cape on, your name is red. When you go purple, your name is red. It wears off the same, but there is no distinction.
A gold and silver ticket works in a shared party.
Until level 11 you can rez yourself using the second "wait for player to revive you" option.
Until level 20, you can reverse return via an NPC near the tele in Constantinople. It's the 2nd option to go where you died, third to where you last teled. I think... Gimme a break, Im a cleric, ppl make sure I dont die.
A blue icon next to a mob indicates a party monster. These have more HP and only aggro a shared party.
A gold crown indicates a quest mob. I need to explore this more. Im not sure why the only mobs I have seen it on are the centaurs. (who guard big flocks of sheep. lol Theyre funny looking)
