Yep, seen it few days ago on E*pvpers. I'll wait until official release. Hope they get better, but I doubt. There is not much time for it to get better.

wtf, league of legends looks better than that, and it's one of those isometric viewed games running on ADOBE AIR ffs.
Joymax should just stop making games, get into real estate or something.

That's probably why I am disappointed by this vid. Skills were a strong point of SRO1. The animations were smooth and the combat was slow paced. Here I just see a generic MMO combat where the animations are just too fast and the skill effects look "watery" like they do in most new MMOs. I did like the archer's mortar-style arrow spam AoE kinda thing though.
Yeah. The only thing I didn't like about SRO pvp was that it was kinda static. You just select the opponent and press buttons. That's both good and bad thing. It's a bad thing because it's kinda boring. I'd love to try SRO where you can dodge the attacks (but you gotta be really good to do so), where you move with WASD. It's a good thing because of this: Imagine you pvp against some random guy. He's low on health so he starts dodging your attacks. It would seriously go on my nerve if he just dodges my attacks until he heals, then pvp again, then dodging, repeat, repeat, repeat. And yeah, I liked that skill. I also kinda liked wizard's (mage's) skills.
Saw it posted on Elitepvpvers as well. Seems quite horrible to be honest, but I'll wait and see how the game looks like ones it arrives to the international market.
All I dislike about it really is it seems like its turning into an action game, all the skills seem so fast paced and stuff, and a bit too flashy.
Still excited about learning more about it though. As long as the features and actual gameplay don't suck, I think the graphics looked just fine.
The closed beta should supposedly open on the 24/25th of October, so I guess that's when we'll get to hear the first impressions from people actually playing the game. I'm looking forward to it

I'm feeling that SRO will completely die out in the next year or so. Once Venture and Myth are gone I doubt we'll see a decent pserver ever again.
Graphically it's mediocre at best, skill wise it looks more generic than WoW. The reason I liked SRO so much was because of how fluid the skills were from 60~100 cap.
This doesn't even resemble SRO in the slightest bit, please kill it with fire.
I might still lurk here, but SRO is completely dead to me now. I'll be back in a year or two to see how hard this game is failing.
aside from the fact old silkroad graphics look better than what's in the video imo, i didn't really see anything awful.
if anyone thinks silkroad 2 is going to be some really good, amazing, or ground breaking game they're delusional though. it still has the potential to be decent-good but it's looking less likely as time goes on.
sad fact is silkroad online is terribly outdated, so this new silkroad is probably going to be a lot different, for better and worse (mostly worse for those who loved silkroad but didn't like other mmo's)
Well, it's going to be a lot more generic, since it's developed by some random Chinese team who don't know what SRO's strong points were. I'm pretty much never for the idea of selling a trademark like this. JoyMax should have just developed this game and then possibly signed a contract with a better publisher while still making content updates themselves.
Seriously, if this is the game we're getting here and being published by (Joy)max, there is no way I'm even touching it. Some of the environmental screenshots look great, but that's about it. Could get fairly close to that with SRO1.

It's not published by JoyMax, nor is it being developed by JM. And that's probably one of the reasons why I have some concerns with this game so far.
