I have and mummy lvl 6 > ram lvl 6, lvl 4 they're about the same, but they serve different purposes. Mummy fits better with more teams. Tank wise rammus is much stronger but he gets wrecked if the other team has better poke/mobility so he kinda forces his team to pick around him.

Ofc, mummy has stuff he shouldn't be picked with too (like gragas off tank) so yeah, they're both strong, and it's fine that there isn't a tank that fits every situation. (like alistar used to)

When was the last time you played? Rammus clears the jungle in 3:40 seconds and ganks hard. Rammus is a much better ganker at early levels and doesn't struggle in the jungle like Amumu. Also, due to Rammus' speed in clearing the jungle he can start counter-jungling right away. It's so easy to harass Amumu out of the jungle as he waddles away from lizard towards double golem with 25% HP. His creeps get stolen. Jungle Rammus > Jungle Amumu. In terms of team fight presence I would rate them about the same.

For the jungle option and overall disruption I would rather have Rammus.
For the overall presence, support, and pre-team fight damage I would rather have Galio
For getting right into their carry's face and never dying I would rather have Malphite or Gragas
Amumu is overrated.

What happened to Ror?

best stun- amumu good tank

balanced tank- rammus good aoe dmg, good taunt, knock back, VERY fast... imo best tank

galio- magic resist DEADLY aoe taunt BEST in game...

its up to the players playstyle and what they like, they are all good tanks imo

I agree that rammus is a stronger jungle than mummy, but I'm much more concerned about the lvl 6 gank. With mummy the lvl 6 gank on the 2v2 bot lane is pretty much assured and then the team can take dragon. Rammus can't double kill bot at 6 unless the other team was over extended or low especially because he can be disabled/flashed from more easily than a mummy. (although I suppose if rammus was running flash with his smite he can flash taunt so it's feasible, but still less chance than mummy) Also, you're too caught up with a mummy vs. rammus jungle on opposing teams who will win? I'm more concerned with who fits with more teams as the jungler. (actually now that I think about it ram can take a tower with his ult if he kills the solo top instead of controlling dragon bot and an outer tower is about a dragon so maybe it's even, I dunno, I like getting dragon a lot)

Btw? Malphite never dying? Even solo top/jungle malphites are squishy as a tank. (pretty much every main tank popular right now outtank malphite in terms of damage) And I've never been impressed with galio in organized teams since 2 cleanse + stunners take away his ult (or 1 sona with cleanse) every fight though I hear he's hot shit right now. (possibly making way for grag) I'd much rather have a shen or garen as the getting to their carry, grag is more poke + support (ulting their carry to your whole team, escaping etc.)

Oh, Galio/Amumu are pretty easy to counter. CleanseJanna. Personally I think both Galio and Mummy are overrated.

got 6k to spend but ill wait til the next patch to make a purchase, sorta wondering if I want mf o.O

edit: actual reason why I wanted to post was to share that i got a 10 win streak with udyr ( carried all those games pretty much ) which was followed by a 3 lose streak ( got a terrible team in one of those and even with a brilliant performance it just didnt work ).

He's 1350?

I'm still waiting for a good champion to be released. So far, I have no incentive to play this game again :(

In my opinion she is a great champion that is often played terribly, not going jungle with her is a wasted opportunity seeing as she can do amazing things from there.

Just dl'd because it looks fun and sotis is ridiculously repetitive.
Questions:
Are there multiple maps/skill brackets?
Constant updates?
Is it repetitive?
2 Heroes that look interesting are Shaco and Kassadin, are they noob friendly?
Any hero suggestions (easy ganking :D )?
Any cool LoL videos? :)
Thanks

Yup I bought Irelia and I think I'll main her for my first complete tier 3 rune page, she's a hero with alot of potential but also a challenge to play, so I think I'll learn alot from trying to perfect her.

Yeah, her q auto proc on hit effects is very nice. EU plays her in lane with locket + aspd and more support than carry which I've never tried cause I can't really trust most junglers in solo queue.

2 maps, 5v5 and 3v3 but not a lot of people play 3v3. Skill bracket scales.
Updated every week.
Kinda repetitive, but new champ rotations keep things fresh for a while.
No.
Warwick if you want to jungle, annie if you don't-solo mid annie basically gets a free kill on any over extended side lane.
Depends on your definition of cool.

So how often are champ rotations? are annie and warwick overused/underpowered at all?
by underpowered i mean easily countered? or is it just all skill?

one week rotation for champs
Annie and WW are solid champs that don't have hard counters. Well... maybe nasus hard counters ww cause nasus happens to hard counter every melee dps, but besides that, not rly. Shaco will give ww trouble in the jungle, annie's late game is trash but no champ is perfect.

You dont have to know Multiple.

Each week, the more you play you get IP, and you can buy heroes with IP.

However, if you really like a hero and want to buy him or her straight away you can buy it with RP but that costs Real Cash

the point of free champions is to help you find a champion that fits your playstyle, and then you buy him with the money you earn for playing games. Then when you get bored/too pro with that champion you start trying the other ones that are on free rotation.

Oh, I actually like this process a lot more than the dota learning curve: here's 90 some champs, gl, if only the 6300 champs didn't take forever to farm.

xin zhao is getting played a lot lately... its an easy champ to use and very noob friendly, kass and shaco are NOT noob friendly, you need to be skilled at this game so you can actually play their style... try a dpser or a tank that dont need to use skills much
