I think Light should have a new skill and an upgraded dash skill. I'm only saying this cuz if you look at the number of skill per mastery, light is missing one compared to fire and ice and force.
New Skill: Some kind of Absolute Dmg... Chinese chars need one. With all the euro buffs, it's hopeless without any kind of abs dmg.
Upgraded Dash Skill: Something random I came up with. Final Dash should be able to leave a mirage. In pvp or pve, if something was targetting you, when you dash, it's like fear. Opponent will be stuck targetting the mirage. Granted the mirage will die in 1 hit, but I think it would make things more interesting.

if there is one skilltree that needs damage, and would be the best suited to have something to do with absolute damage, it would be force. An Absolute damage imbue has already been suggested years ago, but joymax shook that idea off like a bunch of fleas.

creating replicas in forms of tokens for a quick distraction sounds awesome.
scenario: wiz loads for firebolt nuker dashes towards the wiz, creating a token wiz cannot stop the spell and hits the token with it and has to recharge for another attack while the nuker rapes him
combine this with double dash like in private sro and you have yourself a chinese int version of a warrior
Double Dash is a bit much imo, but your scenario would make pvp interesting. It'd be a good counter for ppl that like hiding in safe zone, than just popping out to 1-hit and run.
Also, who was the guy that said he talked to JM developers? It had something to do with GNGWC if I recall. Be a good thing to suggest.

Caster will ofc become immobile while doing this spell and aoe is what 20m?

Instead of having salamander's penetration effect, it would have the usual ice nuke aoe. I don't think he meant it would attack all 8 ppl in a party, just ppl in the radius.

IF they get the first shot off.. if not, they are pretty screwed. xbow rogues can be a problem for Wiz seeing the range is greater. In fact xbox is the main cause of my death in pvp as a Wiz..

this, target 1 person and every 1 in the aoe is frozen and takes a little damage too for 10 sec, since 15-20 sec would really be too high if u think about it. And with 100% freeze regaurdless of immunity would put ice nukes back on the chin skill map.

there are a few things that are ok about them, it's not all bad: They have the highest damage/s in the game Combined with cleric and a player who knows how to time skills, they can survive long enough to easily be a problem. And combined with a decent party player, many people can benefit from their existance. That is probably why they make up at least a quarter, if not a third of the gaming population.
The reason i dislike them has somthing to do with of the population thing as well: The reason people prefer euros is because the game is still unbalanced, and they do all they can to exploit this.
But when they take it to the next level, that is unconditionally praising the build, (take this up another notch: turks praising the build) then they shouldn't be surprised to see many wizard haters with other builds.

It would work if ice rain was turned into that 10 sec skill and double shot changed to actually do 2x hits With your suggestion, noone would take ice rain anymore
Another option would be to make a chinese version of the warlock's "Dusk Armor" by changing the coldwave series to deal damage in a certain radius, just with the chance of freezing people.
yea, a lot of players hate wizard build because of turks which are making them but they are mostly 1hit for any other character, freekill i thought it's like that with every wizard, but it's not i'm the living example tried to pvp an int spearer with nova spear +8 and nova garment set +7+8+9 i have nova staff +7, nova cleric rod +5 & nova shield +5, plus normal set LA +6 (no nova) with accessory set +7 (no nova either) ofc i have(/had) to use bless, coz with my 22k hp it's... meh you just need tactics, experiences and skill to win then i tried to pvp some glaivers, nova weps & sets and shit, had scores like 7-0, 5-1 and so on i didn't even need bless, i could use earth fence and i could kill him easily in 15 sec
btw as for me, i hate warriors, look at his overpowered skills, then bless + skins and other shit it makes them harder to kill, still possible tho, but.. there are 2 more "awesome" skills, stun+kb skill & kb skills, and they can spam it forever, and that annoy me the most like- i hit him with meteor ~44k dmg, then i start to cast another skill (like earthquake) but he uses that kb shit, with my luck i have 99% chance to get stunned also, then another kb skill, im like 5642412 meters far from him, then again and again, bless, skins and he kills me and what about wizard? or other builds? why we do not have skills like that to protect ourselves? is this fair? no

You honestly think that Wizards need more defensive skills? They do the most damage in game by a large amount, the trade-off for this is that they lack defensive skills, but they do have earth barrier etc. That being said they also get Bless if you have Cleric as your subclass. Wizards definitely do not need any more defensive skills. They're strong enough as they are.

Still, the whole perma-froze idea isn't a sexy one. Sucks to be that euro.
Hell, I'd probably get the nuke even as a str if it perma-froze people.

yes maybe but its only 10 seconds and only in the aoe, don't forget that chinese nukes have pretty crappy aoe compared to wizard nukes, so at best you would be lucky to catch 3 people in the spell...not exactly game breaking considering some other buffs in this game that can be used almost permanently in a good party making it near unkillable...

Yeahh would be nice if they add new skills to light, specially someone that could add value to that maestry, althought the parry ratio buff is great jeje

Silkroad lack a buff stealing skill or a dispel skill. Consider how strong a char is when fully buffed. Dispel will help chinese to kill euros when they are under bless spell or something.
