My tutorials are PS7. You just have to try things around and see which function corresponds to what in PS7. I don't see why you can't follow any tutorial in AC. It doesn't matter which version of Photoshop you have. Good luck!

ya. there's just a couple new options compared to ps7.

i'm not sure if ps7 already has the clipping mask tool, i believe my school
pc's have ps7 on it and i don't think clipping mask was on it..

but the basics should be fine :]

It took me ages to find out but I'll tell you.

Its called "Group with Previous"

Applied Image layer on top
Mask layer on bottom

Select Applied image layer, Layers -> Group with Previous.

I don't see anything that CAN be done in CS that cna't be done in PS7. Except for making text follow a path, which is rather useless in most sigs (sorry Hostage <3)

The only things that usual signature tutorials have that 7 doesn't have are photofilters, which isn't that important.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!! WTH I thought I complimented all your siggies

On topic: For photofilters you can always experiment with a solid color layer with different blending options to achieve the same results. Its just scary how much I started to get used to PS7. Switching to CS2 would be as horrifiyng.
