What do you mean by better? I have a capped & farmed archer that can hurt a lot but tanks pretty bad for a pure str. My blader is only level 55 with an SOS +5 weapon so I don't really experience its weakness yet. What I experience is a blader never dies. I killed a yeti giant when at level 50, a devil eye at 51, I survived and killed 6 devil yetis last night. At higher levels I'll be able to give some kickass status effects so I'll still be able to kill, hopefully. After all, common sense says that archers kill while bladers tank.

take bow, you will level way faster and if you still think you want to be a blader you can delevel it.

undutchable was one of the first archers who recorded tons of movies about his build.
pure str bows with decent gear are now considered one of the better builds, they perform great in each situation (uniques, grinding and group pvp)

Ive had a Bow level 74, and i changed to Blader from lvl 75+. As soon as i changed i noticed the huge increase in defence, however a huge decrease in Phy Attack. Im currently level 77, with a 70 - 75 (Cant afford level 76 + 77 pieces yet :D ) garment set and i can tank a fully farmed SOSun +7 Glavier, and thats without Castle Shield.

If you goabout it the right way then yeah, its a very strong build.

I advise you to go:

Lightning 90
Cold 90
Bicheon 90
Fire 30

However read some Int Guides first

Of course, you can. I've always found a grinding spot without (too many) ksing bots. Bladers aren't as gimped in PVE as many people think they are. Especially when you get snake sword dance. 1 shot and 2 chains equals 2 dead monsters. :)

I know a blader who started buying silk at level 66. He's not an SRFer tho.
I don't count, I started my blader with premium and SP ticket.
