I wouldn't suggest taking Blade with the 70:70 build, since it's more of a int hybrid (1 str 2 int for the majority of lvls, 2 str 1 int on a few.)
So, I suggest just going sword....though 70% magical balance is too low to deal a good amount of damage.

a sword isn't such a big hitting weapon, 70:70 is almost the most hybrid build there is (cept for 1:1) so this won't really bennefit a sword...you need the most damage you can get, so go full int or a heavy hybrid (1:7 for example)

No, actually 70:70 is the balance between your physical and magical balances.
1:1 is adding 3 str 1 level then 3 int next level, until cap.
70:70 is about 107 str 268 int (random numbers) and is more like a 2int:1str build 1:1 is a str hybrid with a physical balance of 75+

if you wanna go 70:70 just go bow (bowman FTW) but if u have ur mind set on a s/s or b/s then iether go full str blade or full int sword or some sort of hybrid iether int or str heavy.

Do it please, I have been dying to see if this build works. It has been proven to work with spear and bow, so why not sword? Their are numerous benefits to this build, but like everyone said, since no one has made one with the newer skills. No one knows if they actually work or not. When using snow shield you will literally tank like a blader. You would be a blader on steroids. Just a warning though, if you go 70:70 from day 1 you will kinda suck up to around lvl 55. Its at that lvl that you have a high enough lvl snow shield and hp to really tank like a blader while doing more damage. So you might want to go more int at lower lvls to speed up grinding, then aim for being 70:70 around lvl 60. Then by 64 you will know if the build needs more int or str to be good. Remember you have to think of it like you are a blader, you will not be doing amazing damage numbers, just better damage then the standard pure str blader, and you will be able to use nukes for grinding which is a huge advantage over the standard blader. EDIT* I just saw you were wondering about weather to use blade or sword. Well you will notice higher crits with blade, but lower average damage. For grinding their is no question that you will want sword for nuking power. For pvp though blade actually can work really well. It has to be a very high crit blade though to make it worthwhile. There is also a psychological aspect as well. People hate bladers cause they never die and the fights go on for ever. If you hold a sword people are afraid that you will be able to kill them fast, so you are more of a threat. People will leave you alone more when you hold a blade. Seriously all you nukers out their can try it get a nice blade and start chaining your oponents. They are like WTF, how did that blader kill me. http://bobtheveg.dyndns.org/SRO/Char_Build_Applet/Go here click on the head icon, raise lvl and distribute stats, and watch your balances change.

Hope you get around to making it.
Just a warning though, my 70:70 bower was bad at pvp until mid 50s. So anything lower lvl probably won't be a reliable indication of performance.

ok,im willing to take this...i am in the mood of deleveling bow for my 70:70 archer...i take blade 70:70 instead^^ bich/light/ice.
my current balance is not 69/70 or vice versa..its 72/66 and 81:80 with my gears...
for 70:70 bow will lead the damage, heuksal will lead the HP,bicheon will lead the defense^^ so ill try "70's bicheon"

For Blade is pure str till the end and thats it (on my opinion). If u wanna be hybrid use s/s or bow or spear just dont be hybrid with blade. (Btw on cap 90....blader will get 1 new skill for phy att dmg)

lol this is what my first char was that i messed up. I liked using bicheon skills because they were cool but wanted to nuke so decided to put the str and int into both. naked balance was about low 6x to high 7x for phys and mag. I really enjoyed playing it since it could do decently in pvp (i managed to thief at mid 30s) and pve was exceptional. With a good shield and either blade or sword (i used what what i picked up or found cheap in stalls) i would light nuke to lure, lion shout, then snake sword dance, and either combo or kd the one i targetted. That one would die, then light nuke, shout, and snake sword dance and another 2 would usually die. This took a few skills though since i would grind on mobs a few lvls higher to do their quests. However if theres too many mobs pop up a low lvl snow shield. A great plus is how few hp pots you need as you can basically grind with an inv of 4 stacks of hp pots and the rest mp, leaving about 2 rows for items /tabs/alch stuff from drops. However i never got high level, as my masteries were bich, light, ice, and force. In retrospect I didnt screw up my build that badly, but i enjoy hitting higher more, which is why i made pure str rogue and glaiver. Also way too much sp farming would be required.

I don't really think it matters that much, just make sure you have a high crit and high attack percents. I would definetly recommend borrowing an equivalent sword/blade and checking what the difference is. LOL after all this I hope you like the new build. Do you know what gap you are going to have when you are done with the cursed hearts?
