Pardon the confusing title, it's a simple situation. I'm a level 17 character, with the SP/EXP ticket that I started with. I'm afraid to use them because I may level up, and I'm SP farming.

0. Let's assume I'm level 17, and my mastery gap is 9.
1. After killing an Aduna Ladon, I receive 200 SP EXP.
2. I make full use of my SP/EXP ticket, and I level up accidentally. For the purposes of this example, the ticket has been used and it's no longer effective. The important thing is that I'm now level 18, and not 17.
3. Uh oh, time to level down. I die repeatedly, and I'm back to 17.
4. I kill an Aduna Ladon, how much SP EXP do I receive?

Thanks for the reply. Is it 200 regardless of whether I use up my attribute points?

What prevents me from leveling to 20 for the extra STR/INT, and then leveling back down and SP farming? Right now, it's actually pretty risky to kill Aduna Ladons (Full-INT), but if I get extra STR, I might be able to pull it off.

Your stat points dont have anything to do with it.

You can even lvlup to 80, add all your statpoints, then delvl to 17 and farm those ladons again, but yeah, you'll be stuck with lv8 masteries all the way to 80 :D

Cool beans! I can confirm this works :P I may level up a bit extra (& Level back down) to fight Aduna Ladons, because Kiklopses don't give as much EXP.

I understand it this way:

U lvl up, and put some stats in str (so not pure int anymore at 20), lvl down to 17 so u have some more HP.
Remember, if u lvl up to 20 after the farming, u cant change the stat points anymore, so u dont have a pure int anymore.

Nope, I leveled up, put the points in INT. I want a pure-INT character. However, even if you put all your points in INT, the game places a couple points in STR by default. Even a pure INT character's STR increases, albeit slowly.

But if you wanted a hybrid, you could put points in STR as you said.

that's exactly how people used to farm before powerfarming before the euro update. Level up to 20-24 then delevel to 16 and farm at the bandit den.
