v1. b/w without softness.

v2. grey/white with softness.

v3. brown with softness.

v4. blue?!? with softness.

v5. purple with softness.

personally i like the one without softness best; the one without
softness has the best focal. The other ones are blurry which makes
it look like they're in the background.

so yeah, i guess that makes #1 my favorite :]

edit: how about putting your so called "softness" just on the small
stripes in the bottom left corner?
