Could you give us an idea of your gear?

uhm well it's light armor +3/+4, full blues 100%. Thing that makes me "take" hits is probably the clerics passives and me wearing light armor. That helps A LOT for mag and phy defense.

rod is 72+5 mag 89% and mag reinforce 70%, 100% blues.

If you are 7:1 hybrid, you can kill anyone as well because offering is just so powerful. Quite frankly, 7:1 won't hurt a cleric. 7:2 probably won't either.

Healing is not affected by int, you want the int for MP and offering dmg, and at lvl 80, you saw Amelie do 24k ( and that was a low hit) on a sun blader. With full stats, all you need is a 100% or maybe a little over that and you can kill anyone that doesn't have super def buffs on them, but you can't kill most pure str that are fully buffed. Or a sun blader with +7 set and cleric buffs, because they would get 25k hp and extra defense and you would do like 20k on them with a normal hit.

87-90% hybrid Int cleric can be just fine, you will get an extra 1-2k hp out of that 6-10% trade off.
Hmm that sounds cool. But what do you mean with 7:1 hybrid?
I have heard that if you keep your magical balance over 90% you can take some points on str. Is that true?

Hey Amelie,

How many hp do you have? I went partial str (I have ~180 int and ~83 str @ level 45) about an 80/60 mag/phys balance. All int since level 38.

I just started bluing my stuff, mostly NPC but I have one or two SoS. I'm adding int for offensive spells. My high hit on a manyang went from 21250 to 23750 using offering.

Being you're pure int, I assume you blued for additional str?

BTW, I went cleric/warrior at the beginning for shield trash (still very useful!) but quickly found out I should have gone bard. My build when done will be similar to yours except hybrid. Should come out about 91/50 w/6k hp and 15k mp.

Hey pr0k, yeah my items are blue maxed (additional str on all the pieces of my set), I got 7.7k hp.

I think at the end you'll be having more hp tham me, around 8.5k (or something). Just remember to keep going int so you keep your magic damage high.

7:1 means 7 int and 1 str stat distribution. It's probably a 92-93% hybrid int.

With 90%+ hybrid int (naked balance), you can still kill anyone that isn't full sun blader, with pure offering...at this cap. But remember as buffs level up, you will eventually hit for relatively less, because people won't just get more defense from equips, and from buffs, but also more hp. If weapon dmg cancels out magid defense, and buffs cancel out skill damage, you still have the extra hp to worry about. That just means that at lvl 90, if someone has 30k hp max, pure int might hit 31k on a sun blader, and a hybrid might hit 25k, so you won't kill them. And you might also hit less on SS int because the shield defense is extra that keeps growing with new equips.

So, agains a s/s chinese, unless your skill update and weapon update can keep up with all of extra hp per level, armor updates, defense buff updates (which includes 53% snow shield and possibly extra m.def from fire guard), then you might not be able to kill as a hybrid.

Probably around 8-8.5k in light armor/robe, yeah. I was doing the calculations (on nivlam.com) without any protection on. What's the max str you can add per armor piece? I know it's +3 for accessories but not sure about weapon/shield/armor.

Not sure, should I blue for int @ lvl 80 or str? Str doesn't seem to make as much sense given I'm a hybrid and already added 15 points into it. if I go for int it should make about 92/54 mag/phys balance and the light armor should help a bit.

Its 5 int and str per equipment including all accessories, armor weapon, shield. You blue for both because str gives you physical defense and hp. Int give you magic defense and stronger attack.

ok, my bad, thought it was +3, doh! I just assumed I'd go one or the other.

Unless, of course, you like being able to build and play your character however you want :D

Well, let's pretend you're only cleric without a sub. Won't all those buffs already make you hard to kill? I don't have a cleric, but looking at all the buffs it's hard to kill a fully farmed cleric. Unless you hit a good nice, hard crit...

Yeah, but you can't apply the GOOD ones to yourself, just a few defense passives - It's not bad per se, but if you could put the str/int buffs on yourself...MAN that char would be tough to kill. It'd be a lot more health at the higher levels...my buffs do +18 str, +17 int right now and that's only @ 47.
