Well, im level 80 int spear, with magical balance 110 %

I have Light 80 / Cold 80 / Heuksal 80 / Fire 60

I notice that people with lower magical balance than me, with Fire instead of light, is doing suprisingly more damage then me. In fact, a friend of me with 100 % magical balance did more.

Also, when i use 50 % snow shield, my MP gets drained, and i die. It works alot better with the 3th book of snow shield. Is Cold really worth it? Should i buy item mall skill-potions, and delevel Cold to 60, and get fire 80?

Or maybe Cold 68, Light 72, Fire 80 ?
I miss fire, and at 90 cap, i could maybe have Light 60, Cold 60, Heuksal 80 Fire 80 ? 15 % magical damage increase is good enough, and Snow 40 % is good enough.. So .. Suggestions? :\

I'd be interested to know why your lightning build deals less damage than the fire build. Are you sure all other factors are taken into consideration (like for instance the 5% damage increase of premium tickets, 5% damage increase you can get on silk bought clothes)? I have a lighting build myself, and I have not noticed such a thing. Yes, there is a 330% fire nuke that deals more damage, but it also takes longer to cast, so per second my damage output is very similar to that of a fire build.

Sure, at the 90 cap, a 90 fire, 90 bicheon/heuksal, 60 cold, 60 lightning would be a very usable build, and probably does comparable damage to a lightning build. The question is: what are you going to do when the 100 and further caps arrive?

Personally, I think you consider now how you want your build to progress. Pick 2 trees to take all the way to the top, and divide the other mastery levels as best as you can for the current cap. My two builds will be bicheon/lightning and lightning/force. Main sub will be cold (at 60 while I can afford it), and second sub will be fire (at 60 while I can afford it, but the first to go down when I can't). Another build that may be interesting is fire/lightning, with a sub in cold (which you could keep up to max upto the 100 cap if you'd want).

simple fire does the has a higher and min and max damage that should answer y fire>lightning for imbue

Considering the parry reduction by lightning, that's not necessarily the case. As said: I don't see myself dealing less damage than a fire build when I grind at the generals.

With regards to running out of MP: what % is your repotting set at? Mine's at 80% if I'm not mistaken to avoid exactly that problem. Don't forget that your nukes take down your MP by 25-30% already, so if you have it set around 50% you're likely to run out sooner or later. Alternatively, consider switching to protector or garments to reduce the MP usage of your nukes.

well, since your question is directed to the lvl 90 cap, i say, that full int character become relatively weak. why? cuz you guys need cold - no matter for snow or for phys. defense. therefore you can't max weapon skills, if you wanna max the light/fire or lightning and vice versa. since the lightning tree plays a big role for full ints, you'd have to max it. you also need cold on a certain lvl to use snow shield. therefore you have to decide between fire and weapon tree, which you can't max both. the consequence is relative weakness.

Not quite, since you're pure int you don't need most of the fire buffs other than the fire magical protection when you fight other nukers.
If you're pure str and a spearman you can make up for the decrease of damage you get when you switch to lightning imbue. Even though that drop is almost inexistant.

I wrote up this whole paragraph saying a bunch of shit but I've decided to shorten it to this. You have a weapon mastery instead of Fire. So use the weapon mastery to give the lacking Nuke damage extra damage via Nuke + Ghost Spear. If you still can't handle that he does more damage than nukes then delevel your weapon for Fire Imbue and Nukes and you'll do more. And don't expect Lightning Shock to make up for the damage difference between the 2.

I can tell you this though. Lightning is the main imbue and nukes of kSRO. Though most of these people are probably just planning for future caps it still works fine, they only use Nukes though.

And for Snow Shield just wear some Garment, stop getting teamed, run around and take less damage. If you have maxed Cold you should be wearing Garment regardless if you are a Spear or S/S nuker. Well really it shouldn't matter because if you are going to nuke then you should be on a S/S set.

Yes, i use Garment.
I have some +4, some +3 and some +5, last set, all full blue.

Ok, if we act like 90 cap doesnt gonna exist, what would be best for now?
Light 72, Cold 68, Fire 80, Heuksal 80 .. OR .. Cold 60, Light 80, Fire 80, Heuksal 80 .. OR .. Cold 70, Light 70, Fire 80, Heuksal 80?

I may remove fire again, and pick light at 90 cap, everything is possible :)
I want the best for 80 cap first.

For the 80 cap it shouldn't be so hard. Get cold at 60 and the rest at 80.
