Hi guys, I currently have a lvl 34 rogue and love it, but it get's boring sometimes. I also have a lvl 27 pure int s/s. I'm a real fan of the bicheon skills and love the pure int s/s. Anyway, I was wondering which I should continue on?

In my opinion the rogue is way better, just because of the insane damage (even though this makes it hard to trade). Allright, it dies about 10x as fast as a pure int s/s, but the leveling is insane. Now I was wondering how both builds would do against uniques and in jobs. I don't care about pvp outside the gate. Offcourse a rogue is great at that point, just because people don't know that I want to attack them...

Oh yeah:

Pure int s/s: bicheon, light, cold
Rogue/Cleric pure str.

One more thing, I already asked this question before, but a lot of people voted just for the sake of pvp...which I don't really care about.

rogue and pure s/s are both great at jobbing since they hare high damage dealers. hunter or thief is best option but you can go trader at low lvl if you want

yes rogues are boring as hell until lvl 40 when you get your pimp skills.

I personally think s/s is a bit better because you can spam pots, more fun skills, don't die as much as rogue. Even though its harder to maintain and harder for sp requirements, s/s is fun. Plus, its int, you shouldn't have trouble lvling at all

Hmm, so you're saying that at lvl 40 the rogue becomes much more interesting. Yeah offcourse the Recovery Division, but what else?

Oh yeah, about that pot spamming, I don't care about that. You'll find ways to work around that.

rogues get powerful skills such as prick which become useful in jobbing and grinding. Also at 40 you can make kokoru masks, which can be used anytime including when you want to run away from a place. Kokorus can be summoned instantly unlike horses where you have to wait friggin 5 min to summon. masks are also cheaper than buying horses and get around as fast as lvl 60 horse.

both are good builds and similiar in terms of damage and dying, so do whatever you like, pot spamming, cool skills, buffs, etc

basicly. on either build. theyre good damage dealers, and strong for their build.

they can do all jobs, but i wouldnt recomend jobbing as a rouge until 40+. 30+ is okay with a int s/s as you do nice damage for your level, but once you hit 40 on it, and can theif / get theived by anyone, youll be weak compared to most.

id recomend rogue cleric :). and if you want to do alot of jobbing, focus on daggers, as theyre your best damage dealer.

Hmm...well okay...Then how about this?

With my pure int I had almost full sos and took mobs same lvl or 1 level higher (but with a 6 or 7 level gap).

With my rogue I've got a +3 weapon and crappy equipement and I'm taking on mobs 2 levels higher than me (2 gap).

The question isn't about farming but against other people. Does this translate to the fact that if I get a full sos equipement with my rogue I can take on other people more easily than with a full set of sos on my pure int s/s?

I already know that part about daggers. I was planning on staying xbow untill lvl 64, then start farming to get the rest of my dagger skills and perhaps all the cleric skills.

I voted rogue because they are a blast to play with. For a sub mastery I would also consider bard.

Hmm, it's been a while since the last response, but I still haven't got a answer to this question, which is one of the most important questions I have. I was thinking about leveling them both, but that would take too long.

Maybe I'll just have to stay with the rogue and try to get the int s/s to lvl 42 (I've got a nice sword at the storage for this level) to do some farming.

At least get to lv 30 on your pure int s/s first, thats when you get all your nukes and thats when a pure INT actually becomes good.
