Obviously a farmed character is always more pwerful than a non farmed one, but a non sp farmed one can still pwn, just as long as it has the good skills. So I was wondering, do you REALLY need to SP farm?

Like let's say I make a chinese character with 2 maxed masteries and another one that isn't maxed, such as 80/80/30, you can go 3 gap all the way, in your opinion what would be the fastest way to get to lvl 80, the sp farming way or the gap way?

And besides, if I only want to get like let's say lvl 57, I will get there way faster with 3 gap than if I farm.

So, is farming REALLY important after all?

Not SP farming is possible, but definitely not recommended.

I've done an experiment twice.

I played a 3-gap hybrid INT bower with pacheon and lightning main, and cold secondary. I played without silk. Only took the skills I really needed, but at that time, SP tickets were not available. The build leveled quickly, but overall, it really wasn't what I expected.

Now, using a skill ticket...
It's possible to be a decent 2-main 1-sub mastery build. Works especially good with STR, because STR relies alot on a weapon tree, a great deal on fire, slightly on lightning, and close to none on cold. For example, everyone can afford 20 levels of cold for the snow shield. 32 lightning suffices until level 60 +, and then again, flame body extreme, level 5 fire passive and that's that. The rest is heuskal, bicheon or pacheon.

That's how I built my glaiver. Abandoned the character at level 58 with maxed, fully farmed level 58 heuskal (everything except wolf bite spear and book 2 fan storm) , level 52 fire, level 37 lightning, level 20 cold.

The glaiver was strong, but not strong enough. I clearly felt I hadn't farmed at all...

Conclusively: not SP farming is possible but not recommended. :)

Farming is a *UpToYou* kinda thing, sure you'll be fully farmed, sure you'll be stronger then other non-farmed chars and sure it's boring but imho, farm now, much funner later PLUS it's only like 2months of farming depending on your build but 2months is enough for most builds *euro :P*

So it's not that important BUT useful to be ...

IMO if you ask me, farming isn't really needed but it will help you out a lot. :)
