He has seen many plvlers who wields blades, yet they use nuke and deal heavy damage..
So right now my friend's str oriented blader wants to acquire nuking skills as well, because he sees many bladers able to nuke effectively and still be a tanker.
Does this mean he has to put some points into INT now? And if hes always been a blader this whole time, (lvl40 btw), with bicheon skills, can he go sword when he gets level 42?
In other words, is he hybrid? Or going to have to be? blah.
Stats so far:
HP: 3657 MP: 2404
His STR points - 157
INT points - 102
Phys balance - 86%
Mag balance - 52%
Great help/feedback is appreciated.

No, Pure Str is fine. His nukes wouldn't be as strong, though. They have the skill that increases a few % mag. attack. By the way, was he buffed by anything or anyone?
A sub-"nuke" would be the range Blade skill, which uses physical damage, as you know, instead of magical.

so what you're saying is to advise him to just keep adding STR points and go pure str. And what abuot his blade? Keep going as blade? I know sword has way more mag atk than a blade..

I personally haven't tried it, so this is out of my own common sense and instincts. I, myself, advise Pure Str.
Wait for some more opinions.
