hey i used to have a hybrid blader. Its definitely one of the funner builds, what with all the variety of skills. Damage wise its not bad, but you do need to set up a good order for skills and nukes since being s/s and a hyb you will hit relatively low. But with a good order planned out you can get in enough hits in a short period of time to deal relatively high amounts of damage. Definitely a fun build, quite sp intensive, has pretty good tanking abilities, and a decent offense.
For PvE with my nukes, chains, snake dance series, kd and stab, plus the awesome defence, i was able to take on two pt scorp giants at the same time and have neither ksed from me while i was 2 -3 lvls lower. Keep in mind i had sos blade and som shield.
PvP really long battles if you want to kill a pure str. Fighting a bow user was not much of a problem since they didn't have knock back or stun yet. Pure str glaiver was close battles, using some of their stronger attacks in a row i was often left around 5 - 10 % hp luckily no crit, however since my skill order was pretty decent i could take them out soon after, if not then their crit would probably kill. As for pure ints weren't too much of a problem, especially with phantom walk, kd +stab.
Hope this helps, srry all my posts are always this long

I was thinking bout starting a blader too, Tho i'll be full str
I don't say hybrids are badd, just that full str can tank better (with 20% snow shield)

Danoob is talking about a 1:1 blader or something. He is using nukes. You guys realize this right?
Yeah hybrid bladers are fine. When I say hybrid I mean under 30 points int. Are they better than pure str I don't know. They don't seem to be worse. I have seen 2 in action one 58 the other 78.

Hold on, what do you mean by "adding 30 int points"? Like When you level up, and get 3 stat points, is that what you are takling about?
Because i have a friend he has like 150 STR 86% phys balance but he has like 102 INT with 52% Mag balance. He's a blader. What does that mean then?

I mean that instead of putting all points into str you put xx number of points into int.
That means for the current cap you have 240 points you can put where ever you want. I know quite a few people with 1-30points into int the rest into str. It really isn't as delicate as most people think, since there is both magic and physical attack for chinese characters.

So what you're saying, is that by lvl 80, to be considered pure STR, you're INT points should not exceed 240, yes?

Nope
I am saying that to be pure str you must put all available points into str. The game automatically gives you 1 point into int and 1 into str every time you lvl. Then you have 3 to put where you want.
So 3 multiplied by 80 lvls equals 240 points that you choose where they go.
You must put 240 into STR to be "pure STR".
I know people who have put up to 30 of those points into int and don't suck or anything.

my friend made a hybrid ice blader (his first char) and I wont lie it was pretty awful. In PvE it did okay, I guess. He didnt have to pot to much but killed stuff really slowly. In PvP however he was painful to watch. My friend and I who were 10 lvls lower than him could easily kill him. Granted we were pure int, but i mean 10 lvls is a little ridiculous.
I agree its defiantly an interesting build but if you have only +3 stuff like my friend did i think you will certainly struggle, especially in the PvP aspect.
Well best of luck man.
Oh, and btw my friend had like an 85% naked physical balance.

Definitely the ice. I mean, hybrid bladers basically, IMO, lose some tanking ability in exchange to increase more damage. Yes? So, its give or take.

im a str hybrid blader 3:1 lvl 80 so im an experienced one =P... the first thing ppl told me was "what the hell are u doing?! u are gonna waste ur time!go pure!" but i just keep my build all the way. in pvp i was able to kill glaviers (lvl 42 till 57, for some reason they take more dmg with this build) but nukers were really a headache , well i was using and still using protector so maybe that was the reason  leveling is slow like any pure blader except u do a lil bit less dmg but its different in pvp and jobs. the good thing is that now i have snow shield and i can hold even more nukes than a pure without running out of mana as fast as they do. now talkin in present, yeah i can do a pretty good dmg in pvp, a friend told me that i was able to do 1k more dmg than a pure in same conditions (same gap and set) against him. im still testing it .. btw my hp and mp ;
HP:17840, MP:10418 , balance: phy 99% mag 56%

First of all, Welcome to SRF ^^
Second, do you have a lot of trouble with int builds?
