Hey guys

I'm deciding to roll a pure lightning archer, with full INT, I really don't want to bother with any other forces as I don't see myself playing the game for that long. So I heard lightning works really well with lightning, so I was just wondering if anybody could help me with what skills to get and when to get them.

Thanks alot for any help.

If your pure int bowman, I would go ice. Ice has the best buffs for pure int. I would strongly recommend you not to go pure int as it is not the best. I would go pure str lightning or fire(whichever u want). Well its your choice. Enjoy what you would like to. Have fun with your new build :)

Thanks for the reply, I heard that lightning works well with extra INT, but not sure if it were true. That's why I wanted to use it for pure INT.

I know it's not the smartest build, but I want a build that can easily take people out from afar, so I guess I want to be a nuker, I don't mind if they can take me out up close, cause my friends should be able to back me up.

So INT/Cold is best? Which books would you reccomend?

Thanks for the help

You might want to consider going euro pure str xbow rogue. They work just as good as a pure int lightning pacheon. But if your heart is set on pure int lightning pacheon, it would work just as well, but I still think taking ice masteries for the imbue would work much better for your char to pve and pvp with, rather than lightning as Sauron mentioned.

but as long as joymax dun fix the ice immunity bug...ice imbue will be useless

i suggest light 80 ice 80 pacheon 80 and something else 60 wif the view of light 90 ice 90 pacheon 90, u can consider force as well

light tree (piercing force, concentration buffs) is important for nukers in pvp,pve...bow skill + light nuke shld b more than enough to use

Your point is very valid. But in the context, atobekeigo mentioned that s/he wont be playing that often, so 80cap or 90cap wont be an issue. At higher levels, lightning would be more useful, but ice is much better earlier on.

pure int bow with light imbue and light nuke will have problem of luring much mobs .. he can't tank them .. and can't kill them all at once ..

Don't be light only with no other mastery ...

My character is an Int Bow with Lightning imbue and nukes ... presently also with Cold for Snow Shield and the passive. Cold imbues are worthless in my opinion because they don't let you one or two hit when grinding as easily as fire or lightning does.

At the lower levels I used the Fire imbue and just have finished deleveling Fire. At the lower levels pulling too many mobs on you, which can happen with the way Lightning transfers, is a big problem.

pure str or 70:70 light archer will do ok for your kind of game.

see my characters in my siggy. nice for folks who dun grind much, wanna level. but dun expect to do that well in pvp, pve will still be good enough.

7:1 Hybrid INT Bow in protector

90 bich

light could be 80 as well, depends on much u wanna farm and stuff

pacheon:
whatever skills you'd like to farm and use

cold:
imbue
might guard
icewall (stick at 1 spot, use ranged skills and tank using wall)
snow shield (tank some more)

nova series and nukes if you want em

light:
just for the buffs
speed + teleport + mag increase + concentration

if ur going hybrid int bow, use this stuff as ur guide

i am in the process of trying to pick which bow build i will make next "planing to pfarm at ongs etc" im leaning at 70:70 build but not really seen any in action apart from some on youtube which are sun bows but i would rather see normal gear etc so i havent desided yet

If i may comment on this, no build is the best actually... its all about the gears ... 8)

Give me some distance and I can take down a glavier, spear nuker, or another bow without too much trouble. Bladers and s/s nukers are tough because of the shield. Is this a build that "owns all"? ... no But I am finding it to be better at pvp than I thought it would be. And this is before I even have knockback or stun which should be very helpful skills.

I have no SoSun gear at all ... in case anyone was wondering ...

P.S. I have had not luck with a cold imbue at all and use light for my imbue instead. I used fire for my imbue at lower levels though.
