I go out hunting and I pick up a lot a of element materials. I mkae decent cash selling elements, so I grab all I can.

Here's my dilemma.

Right now I have all the elements lvl1-5 on my character taking up 20 spots. I am still doing the 4,000,000 blood flower quest :( .

So my plan. Unload all my elements into storage. Just take my puppy, pots for him and myself and go out and grind the crap out of them. Not doing alchemy until I get done (with the exception of crap gear drops that just fill up space.) This would leave me with about 30 open slots in my inventory and all the element drops will stack up making it where I can just gather them all up and then spend an hour burning them down later.

Sounds like a plan to me.

What what I think I am getting at, is how do you all handle having tons of elements? DO you group them in lots and just keep storing them? I "may" be able to set up another computer to make a character to hold them all but not really feasible just yet. I'm not the richest person out there, so storing them is going to cost me a pretty penny.

And I know I've read it before but, while I'm writing this, how many rondos can you carry at once?

Hmm... Is the max on items stacked 50 like pots? I've never had that many of one before. Usually keep picking up until I fill all my slots, then find a quiet place and rondo them all.

The best thing to do..... is NEVER rondo when on a grind.....

Personally, I do this by area... or level of monsters... or monster relatedness (earth ghosts as opposed to meek earth ghosts, for example)...

What you do is... grind these specific mobs... and let the item drops stack....

Stack 'til you finish the quest (if you're questing).

Run on back to town lol... and then buy your rondos... and rondo the hell out of those items... You should have quite a few elements... Bunch em together... drop em in storage... and bunch em with the others...

So basically ... just let the alchemy item drops stack. Don't rondo 'til you're done with that specific quest.

Every monster have 3 itens drop...
So first of all would say try to (as said b4) hunt only 1-2 different...
since alchemy stacks 250 im pretty sure u wont able to get a full stack in 1 round... well i cant at least... after 2-3 hours my ass hurt of beeing sitted all long... so i stand up a take a walk or somehitng like that.... and in the end... i just void it when 1 part of sto already full.. btw is cheaper store the alchemy them the elements itself..
but its up to you in the end...

Yours,
Len

I let the alchemy items stack up in my character's inventory while I'm grinding or questing. When I go to town to get more pots or repair my gear, I throw those items into storage. When it's time to break those items down, I use my alt character to do that. So that character has nothing in its inventory except elements. I log her on, pull out the alchemy items from storage, and rondo them. That way I don't have to pay to store all the elements. Use the alt character to stall the elements too.

Keeps storage pretty clean if you're not storing elements.

@PR0METHEUS

Yeah, I had thought of a second character for that. Problem I have is that, I don't have another comp to set up just now to run another account, thus allowing for exchange to that character. So on 1 computer i would have to use a character on my account and store them and them retrieve them. Thus, costing me a nice some of gold to do it. I finally sold my spear off (took a 50k pay cut on it :( ) so I can afford to store them all.

@All

So lets take this as I only have 1 character. I need to empty my personal inventory of elements. How do you all go about breaking them up into storage. Since you can combine while in storage, but you can't break them apart. Lots of 400? Most stones don't take more than 120 elements of any kind at lvl5. If I grouped them in 400 lots, it would still eat up a lot of my space.

I make stones and I sell elements, so I do need access to these. Without another comp, it is a little tough to manage having so many elements and not enough in personal inventory to carry them all.

Well all it would cost you is the initial cost of storing what you have in storage this one time. Put away all of your elements and alch drops. Then transfer them to the other character on the same account. Then the only other cost you'd have is storing any future alchemy items that you get in drops. I think that's a bit cheaper than storing elements.

nanaaaaaaaaa nanananana nanana, Katamari Damacy~

Oh? Are We all done rolling for today?

I see some good suggestions here, I know I personally have troubles with inventory management... and this is coming from a game where you were basically limited to an inventory of 30 items for a LONG time... even after doubling that, it felt small XD

Food items rarely stacked above a dozen, IF they could be stacked. Arrows stacked to 99. Your equipment took up item slots, even when it was on- and you had 16 equip slots (luckily, most people only need 14 of them, but unluckily most people have to swap equip... Mages would carry around eight different staves for all their spells. Bards practically had a different instrument for every song. It's really a nightmare if you're not used to it...)

I talk about element storage in the guide in my sig. Also now since the update you can have 4 characters per account.

Keeping elements in storage can get expensive.

I found and use still today the putting all elements in a non-playing character and break the elements on him so it auto stacks.

So to do this you need another character either on your main account or a sub account(ie use two comps) charcter should have the first two inventory expansions since the elements which go to lvl 9 take the entire first page plus 4 just for element stacks.

Have a bunny, he picks up the alchemy you unsummon him and put him in storage. Costs one gold, you switch chracters on that account, summon the bunny and go to town breaking the stacks, the elements will auto stack. you make stones put back in bunny and pay one gold to put him back in storage. So you pay 2 gold to use elements and get stones back to your main. Works best with charcters whom have inventory expansions for the entire first page will be full of elements.

Second you can have two computers and have the element character on a seperate account and just trade it and do it that way, and it costs you nothing but another computer.

this also keeps your storage unit free of all alchemy items and lets you collect the tabs/ important stuff like old seal items. I am a personal horder of seal jewels. :D

Well...
i make elements also and they use a shit load of space in my storage...
i just break them down into elements every time i go to town and stack them on the last 2 pages in order...

all the same lvl elements going - [horizontal]
and all the same type of elements going [Vertical]

EXAMPLE:

water lvl 1 wind 1 fire 1 earth 1
water lvl 2 wind 2 fire 2 earth 2

thats keeps it organized and easy to access when i need to make stones....

i also have 1-7 elements and seem to have a lot of space left...even though i have 3 pages full of elxiers....

In my case you just need to know what items to npc and what items to keep and stall later on.
