Obviously you spawn party mobs. And I would say more mobs in general.

Well, ive only tried this once, and my experience so far is...
Exp per kill isnt too much more. Party mobs gave me about 3-4times the exp of a normal mob (compared to if i was in a 4 man). To really take advantage of this, you need a near full pt...so you can take the pt mobs out as fast as possible. If you have 4 groups of 2 for example (making a full 8 man), running around killing everything, i dont believe that would be as effective as everyone on the same mob, making you able to kill many more mobs in the same, or a lesser timespan.
I would probably also recommend not fighting the mob you are used to, but 1 or 2 tiers below that mob (so im on generals for example, so i would go for mages, or hunters\snipers) because when a giant pt mob shows up, a general for example, it will take even 8 people a good amount of time to kill it...wasting a lot more pots and arrows (if applicable) and not showing a significant increase in EXP or SP.
I did not notice the increase in drop rate. I was out for a few hours with a near full pt...and i personally didnt get anything. There was maybe 2-3 drops total, but thats possible with just a regular grind session.
About the quest drops. I killed a few mobs and they dropped a quest item for another person in my pt. I couldnt pick it up cause it didnt have my name one it, but they dropped none-the-less.
This is just what i have seen so far...it might not be totally accurate. But the weekend is coming, so i will have a lot of time to play around.
