I love this style. I don't like the colors though.

i DO like the colors. and depth is hard with vector, i had trouble with it myself. the only thing you can really do is use shadows and opacity, and sometimes that stuff ruins the whole feel.

speaking of feel, i think anything made w/ vectors just feels... fun. 7/10.

V2 tried to add a little depth, without flarking up entirely. Drop sadow on 2 layers, gives a new effect which looks ok IMO.

And what SG said is true. Depth in vector sig can only more or less be done by playing with lighter 'n darker colors, opacity and shadows.
Which is kinda hard. :)

actually, you dropped shadows in enough of the right places to actually give it some depth here... but it still looks like it's only 0.5cm deep at best lol. nice improvement. 7.5/10 on revision :)

I lol'd :)
Anyway, that's all I could think of. Well, I could still cram it full with brushes, but that's not the idea of a vector sig -_-'

I want to see a vector piece from you that uses contrasting colors, I love this piece, but I think you could open up a whole new door from this monochromatic style.

7.5/10

kuler (if you go to the create tab) lets you enter in a hex value for your base color, then you can select any one of the color schemes and it generates you a color palette that is hawt-leet-sauce-tastic in the gamer terms.

I didn't want to add an ordinary border, and thought this might suit. But perhaps it's a bit broad.
