From what I hear and a friend tells me, only go pure int if you don't wanna pvp or you can afford really good gear at 8th degree. If you wanna pvp then I'd suggest hybrid INT spear or pure INT s/s, or dual wep.

Up to you :)

Pure INT Spear works better than Pure INT S/S in PvE. However, in PvP, it does worse, because of the lack of a shield - which can work wonders.

If you want to hybridize, though, if you do a good job, IMHO, a Hybrid INT Spear could be one of the best builds out there - the damage output is still good, and they can tank a little more. Plus, the Heuksal Bonus doesn't hurt either.

But if you have your sights set on being a Pure INT, I would level the Bicheon tree for PvP, and use a S/S for PvP, but use a Spear for PvE, since you won't be using weapon skills for PvE anyways. That's just because a Spear has a higher magical attack than a sword, leading to more damage with your nukes.

I am a pure INT spear lvl 26 atm. My damage is awesome and i own in PvE but as mentioned before i get raped in PvP because i have such low health, even with the heuskal passive. Im probably gonna go hybrid later on but for now i just want to level fast.

Hybrids still do level pretty fast... not as fast as Pure INTs, but they'll be able to go to higher mobs, places where a Pure INT might get killed at.
This is useful, because if you have a kickass weapon, and can actually handle the higher leveled mobs, but you're HP and Armor can't, hybridizing will give you that extra HP to be able to.
