As the topic says, I was a blader before, then I switched to glavie, now I want to switch back to blade.
I was wondering can they kill? pvp and pvm? I am lv7x and so bored with glavie.
How do you bladers grind? I never got to have last book stab i switched at 67 sad, anyways input/opinions please.

yes, bladers can kill quite nicely, with the 2 stab + jump stab we are deadly
we just bounce those glavies around, and they will just lay there >.>

as to grinding, its not THAT bad, obviously glavies grind faster, but blader's chain can help our grind a lot

yea and also with the new shield techique upgrade bladers can stand up against higher lvl gliaver

come back to the winning side with cooler chains

It's a trade off, pick what you want.

as with every build in silkroad, they're all good but they need to be fully farmed and on good gear. luck cuch said, it's a trade pickoff, people have a hard time killing you (almost impossible) but you'l have a hard time killing them as well.

from my experience in this game, a blader simply can't kill a glaiver or a same build (blader str based) character in 1 versus 1. all you do is kd and stab in 1v1 and you better hold a bad ass blade if u wanna see their hp hit zero, in the likes of +5~7 with +6x% on phy att and rein at the least with a crit of minimum 10....

in job/guildwars is where the build really pays off, on Aege you got Heaven which is basicly a stabbing guild. the majority of their are bladers, and when u get kd'ed you wont be able stand up again. if you're in a guild with a lot of bladers farmed active and at around your level, the build is good at any level and still fun to play

well, for someone with a mediocre blade this is true. get yourself a nice +7 72 blade, combined with a char that never dies its a lotta fun

well, at lvl 80 u can have about 21k hp as a full str, and 22k as full str glaive. now try to kill me with ur little blade and its little dam

i dont think u watch too many bladers lvl 80 bladers in pvp against lvl 80 players do u?
even against ints its a pot war.

im lvl 78 and pvped with a lvl 80 blader with 72+7 blade both of us have +5 shields, im wearing garments no ice and he couldnt take more than 25% of my hp.

blader cant kill anything =/ i can tank full farmed lv80 with 72+7 blade as pure int in garms i could prob tank without shield too

Bladers cant kill anything, nor can they be killed. And no, even with a +7 blade, you still cant kill anything. Sosun+7 maybe, but just normally, not a chance.

Oh please. I have a lvl 79 (with 80 masteries) blader and a 76 one thats farming, It's only a pot war till I crit.

crit? lol. try to crit me, when i'm equipped with a crit 100 shield -.-. the dam of the bicheon skills are just ridiculous. just cope with the fact that u cant kill anyone and cannot be killed.

i have more than 16k hp the only skill that bladers can use to kill me ican just switch to a +5 shield full blue and its like u fighting another blade...

bladers are tanks, and the best bladers ive seen protect the ints in the big wars, everyone just ignore bladers, and the bladers job is to kd to give the int time to run

bladers can kill, but at lvl 80 dont expect str to kill str

u trained to lvl 67 after that u changed.(if u get glavie from lvl 1 u shuld had train even faster)

bladers are cool, they can laugh their ass of to all glaviers when they try to kill them. very good build for thiefing

I have got lvl 33 blader fire and its pretty cool when u kill with chains..It can kill but it takes time....better gear more power

i had a long pot war with a str blade my lvl and around same gear.

i could kill him, kept nuking and spearing

and he couldnt killl me, kept kd stab etc.

22k hp... liar a glaiver with absolutely perfect gear would have 20967 hp, even an hp scroll wouldn't take you to 22k , But i do not see how you consider bladers weak, even IF it was true that a blader can't kill a glaiver of equal lvl, are you saying the glaive will ever kill the blader?

well, can u read? if yes, then read my posts ABOVE. i clearly said that bladers cant kill but also cant be killed.

how 22k? get on every gear and jewelry +5 str, then on every gear +400 hp and add the heuksal passive. but i already noticed that ur noob so i do the calculation for u:
full str at lvl 80: 16060 hp, + 50 str (6 gears, 3 jewelry, 1 weapon) = 18450, + 400 hp on every gear (multipy with 6) = 20850 and finally + heuksal passive = 21928 hp, so around 22k. if u can READ, u would see that i wrote above (1st post, just to help u), that u can have ABOUT 22k. i think 21928 hp is pretty near to that. when ur equipped with a shield, u even can have more hp.

so just stop flaming with unqualified comments and do ur homework 1st and don't waste our time.

ps: i really don't care, if u believe our posts or not. it's not my problem anyway, when hit with ur lvl 80 blade on other chars like shit and they don't even move, lol.

This game was created with various builds, each excelling in their own way.
To think that the role of a blader would change when you get to lvl 80 diff from a lvl 6x blader would be flawed. Bladers are ubr tankers...they offer support and draw fire away from the weaker ones (nukers). They lvl slowest of all builds regardless if your at 3x or 8x.
What helps them, like every other build, is the quality of weapon/gear they equip.
In the end it boils down to what you prefer, your own fighting style.
