Make sure to use the [*url] [/*url] tags without the *'s.

when i go to imageshack, when i finish everyting do i just press host it?
after i host it how do i get it to forums?

if you want the whole pic on the forum...copy the last link and post it between [img]and[/img]

if you want a thumbnail get the 2nd or 3rd and just past it
