Use imbue regardless of INT or STR build, just INT's do more damage with imbue.

so as pure str, are my crits really good even when i use imbune's? or are my crits good only if its just normal phys damage?

and i dont get, that str adds physical damage, so if im using magical attacks does going pure str even effect my damage or just crits/hits?

using imbue will only do u good. it will make your crit more powerful than normal. going pure str affects your base damage when u shoot arrows because that's based on str. so, pure str = stronger base dmg + weaker imbue, pure int = weaker base dmg + stronger imbue. i think overall with imbue pure int does more dmg.

so basically, in order of increasing dmg:
pure int normal
pure str normal
pure str normal + imbue
pure int normal + imbue

Your doing physical+magical so the physical buff would help the physical part and any magical buffs would help the magical damage.

If I'm not mistaken, physical damage and magical damage are calculated separately during an attack. The damage you deal when you hit a monster with a physical skill + imbue is the total of their individual base damages.

Your str/physical balance influences the physical portion of your attack while your int/magical balance influences the magical portion of the attack.

(base str * skill dmg) + (imbue dmg * base int) = total dmg with imbue

base str * skill dmg = total dmg w/o imbue

this isn't the dmg formula, jus ezier way for u to understand how it works.
