You obviously are a liar, if you are a network engineer are you are running a computer like that then you really need to get out more...or away from your games and do some work. As Passion stated, if you are running XP and SRO @ max settings and say you dont lag then you are full of crap...XP will page like a mofo with 512m of ram if you load ANYTHING else.

Anyways, you've wasted enough time and i have work to do...go play your SRO if thats what you love...come back when/if you ever get to 80 and tell us how great SRO is...

nah... really vanguard or WoW or GW are very good but i dont think that paying is a good idea when u have other free games to play... do u ever tried ferentus before it closed? that was a game... yes, the grafics wasnt good like sro, but the guys that played it were incredible, and u had thousands of quest to do

I prefer a game that you have to pay for ...

#1 - Weeds out a lot of the kiddos that ruin a lot of the fun.
#2 - If you have a problem a GM is usually there to help...real-time.
#3 - If you get hacked, etc... they will usually help you out.
#4 - Just take a look at http://www.vanguardsoh.com and compare it to another game like SRO...Their site is amazing...go look at the character info sheets, automatic screenshots, etc...

Well worth 2 extra hours flipping burgers every month IMO.


SRO has its qualities, but the lack of support, the lack of joymax giving a damn, etc... really destroys their chances of long-term success in markets other than their own back-yard.

No, plus everything. While I was active I spent almost $20/mo. for my ticket and monkey. That's nothing compared to what Ryoko or Sui or tons of people have spent, and it's still more than the subscription fee for any other MMO I've heard of. I don't want to hear any more bs about, "Isn't it so great that those who *have* money can pay what they *want* to pay, so that decent people who don't have money can play for free?" No. It's more like, "Doesn't it suck that people who have jobs, and can afford to buy silk, *have* to spend money that they don't *want* to spend in order to stay competitive and subsidize thousands of immature retards who, through the power of their lack of ethics or lives, we can't compete with anyway?"

Explain how it's like a turn based RPG? Turn based RPGs have extremely long wait periods where you do an action and wait for others as well. Every single game has cool downs..


Lag depends on the time of day you play not really so much your regular 1.5m cable or your 1000000000000mb cable connection or your 90000000 gigahertz computer or your 3000+ semprons. FYI, server limit dictates lag for the most part.

Lag ? = Server loaded
Nothing that YOU can do about it.

SRO has potential but it cannot last very long with bots dominating every single server and without party activities and cap level activies. The only thing in SRO is GRIND GRIND GRIND by yourself and that's why bots proliferate the servers.

Countries with low money value and minors playing the game without silk drop by level 55 at the latest for most of the hardcores. Then as you approach level 70 with silk, it's as slow as leveling without silk at level 55.

As you level even higher the grind Grind GRIND gets even more tedious and even more players will drop. Imagine the level 90 cap, only the hardcores with silk might make it and of course the botters.

And to top it all off, once you hit cap there's is nothing to do.

In no way was I lying about any of it. In regards to the games I stated several times, that is my opnion. If you don't like my opinion then I'm sorry. The lag issue was really more aimed to the people who bi-tch every dam post about lag, not you. I just said yall cause i kind of got caught up in wanting to flame ya..:p My whole arguument now is based on threads on here and on official site. Don't turn every dam thread into a flame war about bots/hacks/ccf and all the other sh-it. It wasn't directed at you passion. In my spare time I am working on code for the game I mentioned free of charge. Why, because I love games. Hmmm I wonder why this noob has so much time on his hands? You know what I do 10 hours a day? Mauler, Thats Death2All man not me you are thinking of. True phantom, but you see I log on around 3pm and log off around 3 am. Which is the best time for my area, as far as lag is concerned.

I have never heard of a ptp game thats 80 bucks a month even a limited edion collectors is 60 for the box and 15 per month initial outta pocket is 75 max and thats after you play for free for a month.

Spending 60 a month with sro you are basicly paying to play 3 ptp mmo's.

+1, though i perfer wc3 more than sc but i hate how blizzard pretty much isnt doing anything for their other games and just focusing on a MMO that basically reused the skins from wc3 and hardly had some of the more noticable origionality that usually comes in a blizzard made game.

WoW is for kids like you that can't handle a real game....there is really no challenge to the game and you can get to max level in 2 weeks with ease...

Then what........Battlegrounds..........rinse..........repeat............with your fishing breaks in between. FUN!
