Yeah I believe if you have your character power levelled, they will use a bot. Can you imagine how many employee's ThePW would have if they hand-grinded all of the customers? Even at 0-gap...

Botters are bad, if you look at that bunch of **** who don't even play the game seriously and let a program do their job stuffing the servers.

But Ks'ers take away the stuff thats supposed 2 be yours, and they r aware of it

That shows how crappy the community is

eh botters fine compared to level 70 players who go around killing level 20s and spawning their thieves on under level 20 players to show they 'pwn'. it seems the people ive met who bot are more laid back and dont view low level players as 'noobs' and more as people.

you can get from 0->20 in one day! Why would you need to buy gold then below level 20??? Grinding for gold below level 20? I wouldn't even know why you would do that except if you plan to SPfarm and then i would say happy grinding for gold till you can afford a level 16 SOS bow hehe

Hmmm, maybe that's because they have nothing to worry about? they level without doing anything, they gain money without doing anything, they get there occasional SOX drop without doing anything. Hey, i would be laid back more 2 if i see everything go well without doing a thing.

Now i have to grind, hope for drops, wait for isy, hope for drops, visit stalls to buy new gear or buy and sell, set stall to gain money, grind again, do trades for money. All of this by hand... And that while knowing that in pvp my ass will be often handed to me on a plate.

When you are a legit level 70 sometimes you want the easy money.

The clarify, i don't mind doing all those things by hand, i like this game, but don't come here and say legits are grumpy and asses. Wait till you hit a descent level and again a low level begs for money just when you spend 20 elixirs on a weapon to get it +2, wonder if you will be 'layed back'

i have to agree, id rather have botted level 70s who dont feel they have to 'pwn' low level players (and i dont just mean traders.) . if your level 70 and a level 20s 13000 gold is worth 5 minutes (plus the time to find them) to you, wow just wow.

- example
last night there was a theif level 54 or so , sitting with a camel at the JG south gate. he was just waiting there so it would spawn theives to kill players. he actually put his camel in the archway into the city. of course his high level theives spawned and kill several lower level players.

botters dont seem to do that stuff, because its a waste of their time. oh yeah and there was a hunter and several other high level players there who just completely ignored the guy. so like i said for me botters > high level hand players (generally there are exceptions)

low levels begging for money is different than. 'ill pop as many level 20s as i can.'

Actually the people who powerlevel ACCOUNTS and not gold farm DON'T use bots. They use real people and they have a system where they KS anyone in an area to make it their own area but it is done by real people and not by bots.

why? because the bot companies get richer and richer everytime u buy it and they make better bots, bots causes lag and make the game imposible to play because it is always full, also, it is used for payed powerleveling and gold buy

Gold bots clutter the server sure. JoyMax has gone to great lengths to get rid of THOSE. What REALLY pisses me off is that the bot companies have customer support. Lets think about this..... And I am NOT promoting botting.

JoyMax: Gives no support, takes my money with no security or return, informs me of nothing, no two way conversation whatsoever, Costs about $15 a month for the basics, pet and scroll.

BotCompany: Has 24 hour live customer support via MSN or site, has excellent response time to client changes, accepts suggestions on improvements and gives feedback in response. Costs half of what JoyMax does. Offers no recovery if your char is banned, lost or bugged.... Oh wait, that applies to BOTH.

I wont bot my char, Id rather not play at all. But I can see why more and more ppl are.
