lol you should look at all the riots in taiwan asking the president to step down.

And... what? The riots are held by kwomintan supporters, the opposition party to the president. 200,000 pro-chinese rioters... that's like .8% of the population dude. Seriously, most of the media outlets in Taiwan are pro-China, so all you see is a blow up of a small event.

The political instability in Taiwan at the moment is very serious, theres not only riots asking President Chen to step down, his son in law is convicted and sentenced to 6 years in jail for money laundering, his son oveseas were being accused for spending Tax Payers' money. His wife were being accused too... The only reason that he is not stepping down is due to that he IS the President elected and his time is not up yet, should there be another election, he will be sure to step down. BTW, I am a Taiwanese. ATM I would say 80% or more of the people are goin against the current TW president.

@Chaby
Look at Taiwan's local news and see how much suffering the earth quake has brought to the people. U should be ashame and sorry abt the your joke. Its almost as bad as joking abt people suffering from 911.

I hate that earthquake. I've been trying to call my girlfriend who's on vacation in the Philippines for the past few days, only 1 of my calls got through completely..the other ones we're one-way calls. Some filipino players also can't play iSRO. Anyway, hope this problem gets resolved soon.

(move to off-topic please)

Sorry for your problems but in regards to compensation...

PLease read the damned User Agreement before you post something like this:

Quote:
Chapter 5 Compensation for Damage

Article 1 (Immunity from responsibility and compensation for damage)

1. All Standard services with the exception of the premium services are offered to the users for free, as applied for through this user agreement Errors may occur in user’s computer, software and etc. from use of this service. Please backup important software, information, data and etc. before using this service.

2. When there are overwhelming problems such as natural disasters, national emergency, company can not operate the service and account, character, items and etc can be lost. But the company shall not be held responsibile.

3. Company shall not take responsibility for service suspension/service error due to user’s mistake.

4. Company shall not take responsibility about damage due to internet service error by internet service provider.

Do people not read the fine print anymore? Or when they post things like this even attempt to check what the company is actually responsible for?[

lol i think joymax MAY do something about this. Without most of us Asians playing = less people buying silk = less money for them. i wonder if they will do anything lol..

I see that this is a serious situation, but what does his son in law doing money laundering have anything to do with his ability to be president? Additionally, the accusation by the KMT supporters against his wife and son for spending Tax Payers' money is just that, an accusation, since nothing has been proven YET.
Until the KMT can find something of substance to make the current president step down, there is no reason for him to. BTW I am also Taiwanese.

either I get a C9 error, or cannot be connected at all, or I'll get connected (after a good lag time) and get into the game super lagged, and move like The Six Million Dollar Man on a slow-mo mode and then get the Disconnected From Server box. Lucky I'm in town.

I feel you're pain..if i could help in any way i would...

It's terrible that some parts in the world experience earthquakes, floods, and other natural disasters...

And i don't think it's fair that the people must suffer because someone who was supposed to guide the country to succes and profit..refuses the right thing to do,because of the oldest excuse in the book...

Power.......................but power.....is nothing without guidance...

And as for silkroad,i guess al you can do is hope and wait... :(
