I second that. Also, about SP farming... I'm not sure I see the point in farming at all. I guess you could go out and hardcore grind in the bandit stronghold from lv 16 to 20 with a 9 level gap and delevel over and over until you get 200k SP and then level up, but farming just seems boring. All that time spent at a low level fighting the same mobs over and over and over and over.... I've been doing just fine leveling up individual skills as I gain some SP, keeping a 3-5 lvl gap (usually 3) so my skills are better matched to my character level at the time.

I have been widening my gap, currently at 5 and working to 9, just to get some extra SP, but I plan on leveling different books in my trees as I get enough points. I just won't level the mastery trees for a while I guess.

i have a lvl 70 str glaive... needing lots of sp... and its a b*tch. i also have a farmer in the den right now. sp farming goes faster in the den then it does in the cave. black_mamba did her sp farming on penons which was done at an acceptable rate ^_^, but she is int. what farms faster you think? a lvl 16 one hitting everything with a 9-level gap, or a blader running around on the ice/caves? sp farming early on is painful, but when your done your going to be glad you went through it.

If this aint the case let him be. I'd like to see YOU make a 1 : 1 glaive hybrid ice. You wouldnt / you can't. You aint ever done it so how'd you knwo it sux around his lvl?

Also he didint specify that hes oh so happy gettin to 20.. he said A HUNTER IS BORN, meaning he can start helping low lvl traders vs low level theifs. This game aint all bout grind grind grind.

I'm currently leveling a 4x and all I can say is it's 10x better than my 7x and all the commotion around it. @Thread starter, you go play and grind hard. Aint MilkTea on troy? Ifso maybe we can fight one day

Anyway build your character like you want, if you like how it is now, go on with it, but don't forget to test sometimes (like switching to spear for example)

Hybrid is someone whom isnt pure. Meaning he hasnt put all his stat points to either str, or int, but done both in some ratio.

A gt = Gold ticket, is an Exp helper giving you twice the amount of SP. It's an item-mall item.

Spear and glavie aren't the same, a spear has more magical damage, where a glavie had more physical damage, therefor spears are for int based users, and glavie's for str users. U should use a spear.

Looking at you statisctics, you could be hybrid, but you could also have very good gear with stat added.

Well if I'm not mistaken, someone correct me if I'm wrong - the higher your str, the stronger your physical attacks are, and the higher your int, the stronger your magical attacks are. That is in addition to your HP and MP being higher if str or int are higher respectively.

This is why pure int characters often become nukers because their nukes (magical attacks) are so much stronger than an str based player. I'm a pure str blader, but I added the 1st level fire nuke just to play around with it and it is WEAK. If I was pure int, it would be a bit stronger.

And he is welcome to build an ice glavier - but dont come here posting " woot lvl 20" with a crappy build and expect people to go " :o leet go you leet ass mofo" im not some moronic teenager that needs validation for every mundane achievement on a game. I have 5 charecters all over LVL 20, and not 1 would I have concidered an achievement at lvl 20.

think about this - if every single noob posted" woot I got 20" in this forum... the whole damn page would be nothing but that and it would be impossible to find any meaningful threads. So wether you like the chastizing or not - I feel it is more then warranted. Kthxby

grats man, i knoow i loved hitting 20 my first time through. oh and yuo will get more hp.

pretty much everytime you lvl you actually get 5 points to distribute. but 1 is automaticly put into str, and 1 in int, leaving yuo 3 to use as yuo wish. at llvl 70 a pure int has 5k~ hp i beleive.

you should be congratulating him. you know why? its probably his first time to lvl 20. and the first time ALMOST ALWAYS takes that long. back when i started playing there were no "gold tickets", no guides on "sp farming", the only damn build anyone trusted was fire/str glaive, and there was no 'ideal' grind time that had been previously set(which is now set to 'all the time'). it took me a month to reach lvl 20 the first time around. you guys also have to consider that if it is his first character, he probably has spent most of his time sitting instead of potting.
