I used to play a lot from April to August approx., then my life got hectic, I couldn't play, and now I don't remember my account name or password. Oh well. Anyway, I had a lvl 37 pure STR fire/force glavier, and I would freuqently accompany low level traders from Jangan to Donwhang and kill everything that threatened them. My lvl 32 SOS +4 glavie proved very useful. I also had Force as my secondary force, so I could heal and resurrect people. It was fun, because too few people get Force, and even fewer use it to heal random people they meet. I made some good friends that way, actually. :)

Now I've just recently started playing, this time on Eldorado, and I'm gonna build a pure STR Bow/Fire/Force/Lightning character that will be a dedicated healer that can also dish out a fair deal of damage in PvE and PvP.

I have a pure STR Bow/Ice/Force/Lightning, but I'll make a new character, since this one is just lvl 18, and it will cost me too many SP to get my Fire skills up to level.

So, if you have a guild or is looking to start a guild, and need a healer, let me know. I'm not interested in joining/starting some hardcore guild, but rather a guild of people who play for fun. I won't grind for 8 hours a day with a gold scroll, so I won't level as fast as others. :)

Sometimes when I ask for help from people, I pay them massive amounts of gold because they didn't flame me or anything. Same thing with players like, selling me a low-cost item I really need, but instead of like, 50k, I'll put 200-500k in the window.

I've never gave a begger anything but my guildmates do get nice hand-me-downs. Our guild is all inclusive so far, we've all known each other for years so we all trust each other, it's cool.

I do help people out when they ask me questions that I can answer and I try to give people a clue when they clearly have none.

RandomPlayer: WTB Lvl30 SoS Weapon!
Me to them: There's no Lvl30 Sos Weaps, just 32
RandomPlayer: you have?
Me to them: No, I'm telling you they do not exist.
RandomPlayer: i pay 2mio
/Me: wtf is a mio? I give up..

I am getting good at making gold though so if I continue making a mil+ every night I'll try to be generous to the lowbies.

Anyhow, that's nice he gave you an SoS weapon. I've handed two down to my guildies now, made them happy =]

Well I havn't been playing SRO for long enough to have very many opportunities at kindness.

But when I quit runescape I gave a homie about 3mil in gold, thousands of nature runes, and tens of thousands of rune essense(used to make runes like nature runes), buncha armor and weapons and food and aww man all kindsa shit. Lots of moneys worth.

You might say 'well you were quitting so what?' - I could have sold my character with all of the items for alot of money on Ebay. 10mil would go for like 20 bucks when I quit on Ebay.

I still have like 500 shark and like 5k lobster which I plan on dropping in smaller increments. Unless I get myself on and go pking for a few hours.

yeah i help people who are lower in lvl than me(except hand out money and sos cuz i gotz no money or sos's)

I help cuz i was picked on like that before, i had nothing(still have nothing) and cuz well... umm..... good deeds i do balance out the bad deeds i do when i head to jangan, butt naked with my scarf. lol yeah, when im with friends or just bored, i chase lower lvls down and bash them with my fists(only fists, weapons are for pussys, and bumbaclots). Sooo yeah...its good to know that there are some nice pplz out there who realize its just a game unlike 90% of the population here :D lol

a few days ago i was out thiefin just messing around, and i ran up on a dead noobie.

so since im a nice guy i ressed him, he says thanks then applies for trade with me.

he puts 867 gold in the trade and accepts.

thinking he must be pretty poor if he is giving me such a random number (maybe his full gold he had on him) i accepted the trade.

then i traded with him and gave him 100k, then chatted to him and said "you are a nice dude, have a nice day."

hehe. me FTW.

:( humbug! I hate a nice thief. Make up your MIND spych! Now when people see a black suit, they have to consider "hmm, is he a nice theif? should I kill him? should I raise my hand and say 'I come in peace'?". while they're being undecided, a nuke and they're done.

Nice thief FTL. :P

Yes... I'm gonna give a random person a little item for nothing.

Then his friends when they ask...

Then their friends....

I don't think so.

I gave some blue upgraded armor and stuff to a novice player that looked like he was struggling. The armor was lvl 1 blue that I picked up, but for what it was worth, it helped the poor guy out.

As for that guy that bought you the glavie, damn, that guy is my new hero. He will be known as the Legend of Athens from now on.

I believe the reason that this happens in sro is b/c most people who are high lvl/elite have paid their way to get there through the item mall and also spent countless hrs every day on the game getting to where they are. MMO's are a game, but a life choice for a lot too.

O, when i used to play runescape, to get my Smith higher, i used to make copper full aurmour suits, n then i moved on to iron n so on,

Whenever i was done... I would go to Lumbridge, see the first newbie to teleport in, and give him the full suit with skimitar and shield... Mayb a bit of G if a felt like it...

they were like ZOMG thnx... Hehe did this for like... weeks.. got my smithg hiiiiggghhh :P

lol yeah hmmm in RS I dropped all my stuff for some poor people who only had like 200k :)
But yeah, my experience of giving away has been somewhat soured by the time when I guarded the trade run of a lvl 20, who was doing DW-Jangan via west gate. I figured he couldnt make it past the taoists, so I offered to help him (without hunters suit, so basically I was just using up my grinding time). He agreed, and after killing all the taoists I asked if he could pay me, maybe a fifth of his profit if we made it safely. I really dont know why I asked for it, but I think I just wanted to be called a paid hunter. He agreed to that as well. But after we're past all the high spawning points and tough mobs, he logs out and never responds to any notes or whispers that I give him asking why he did that. :(
Then, one day when I was thieving, I saw him in a traders suit grinding hyungnos
Great success :)

I would like to start with saying..im really really REALLY LEET! as in überl33t!..maybe...oh im not..im gonna cut myself...oh wait that aint hte topic..I usually go and buy up all the stalls in donwhang and jangan except 1 item and type "merry x-mas" they get so happy when they come back, sometimes when I hold a convo with a little newfie in the game I give gold cause they are like the only ones not asking for it.

what else do I do to other leeeeeet people uhm..I share mobs with people, free ksing, I give people free arrows, I dc peoples stalls for free, thats kinda it I guess

If you are gonna do something nice, do it.

What's this "I'm so kind and generous" crap?

BTW, I am too but you aren't gonna get the details from me

I helped newbies a few times...with words and actions ,NEVER with money.

Reasons:
1.)The risk is 2 high that the former newbie might becum a total a$$hole :x
2.)I never got money just like that from a stranger and never got scammed.
3.)The SRO-community fµcking sux ! :x

Right now I'm hoping there is someone that nice on Eldorado, because I'm lvl 16 and I could really use a lvl 16 SoS bow. :D

There's a diff between a 600-800 16 sos weapon and a 2-5m 16 sos bow.

>_>

i give noobs money all the time... some dude needed a little extra cash so he could revive his wolf, sure. Some random guildy asked if anyone could spare some cash the other day, so I passed him 500k

its not about getting it back - its about feeling good about doing something for someone

I don't have enough cash to just freely pass out but I'll res people's wolfs if they are dead.
One person came up and the conversation went like this
Person: can i have 50k to res wolf?
Me: Sure. (cause mine had died a lot when lower against earth ghosts and popper walk by) But show me you wolf so I know its dead.
Person: Ok
Trade window opens, wolf in for 2 seconds and closes really fast.
Wolf still alive not blue dead.
Me: Yea thats not dead.
