asus an-8 sli mobo
1gig cosair valueram
6800xt nvidia
athlon 64 3000+ oc'd to 2.4
Samsung 19inch lcd
Creative 2.1 speakers w/sub
Logitech mx518 mouse
I have lots more to do to it..like corsiar xms ram and dual 6800xt's
..it can run max with circle shadows...detail shadows lag a bit, it was a nice budget build gaming machine, built it just for SRO.
My powerhouse is a pentium 4 ht machine, the ahtlon just cant run more than one program at a time very good . AMD is strickly gaming in my book.

The only real "gaming" aspects of my pc are my keyboard and mouse... G5 mouse, G15 keyboard, the rest isn't all that important, if I choose so, I can run sro at full graphics. I don't play it for graphics though.

lol fun to see how all thinks more RAM = faster pc hehe
fyi even if you have 2 Gig ram it is almost never fully used. Not even when you render a 5000*5000 pixels raytraced mirror palace in 3DS MAX 8 or MAYA.
Busses and processors are the key

I just bought a new laptop, and except the "??? error" once a week I don't have any problems with running in high resolution (except shadows off)
I'm not on it atm, but I'll post its 'stats' or whatever you name it as soon as I can ^^

Low graphic settings reduces the crashes for me

Okok, then I'll join the big cock contest either.
AMD Athlon64 4000+ @ 2,75GHz (stock voltage)
Abit AN8 SLI
2x 1024MB Corsair XMS
GeForce 7800GT (not overclocked since enough power for most games at 1280x1024 -> Iiyama 17" TFT)
WD Raptor (WD740GD) (total storage: 820GB)
Enermax Liberty 500W (enough power for dual core + SLI/Xfire)
Chieftec Mesh Medium (LCX)
Audigy 2 + Teufel Concept E (fu** Logitech and Creative speakers)
Logitech G7 + Cherry USB Keyboard (these keyboards are made for ages)
I think I'll keep going untill AMD releases its quadcores. At the moment there is no point of upgrading since most games are still singlethreaded.

If you are going to OC an e6700 make sure you get the ph5 delux it pwns them :p
water is over rated if you ask me bnang for the buck its just not worth it yet. I have clocked my chip to 3.97 with my current setup and never went over 32c.

thats a serious miss-interpretation , the way a dual core cpu works is not 2x "stated clock speed" , it's half the stated clock speed - then x2 = stated speed
so your running 2- 1.33 x 2 = 2.67 (thats roughly done not account the minor 0.5mhz)
either way still a nice setup

ye u dont double it..its just lie having two processor chips on your motherboard..but for handyness it fits onto one..so just means you can do mulitple things at same time..
hopefully getting..a 6400,2gb or corasir ram and a 7950gt among all the other fiddly bits for xmas..

everyone who gives a shit whether their computer will kick anyone elses computers ass ONLINE is retarded...
shut up we all dont care whether you have a computer that is better than his.
if you want to contribute positively, simply state what your system is and say how well sro runs on what settings...
no need to be a ..... idiot and go "oooh oooh my e BALLZ are bigger than yours, look how awesome me and my computer are!!!!"
also... we dont even know if you are telling the truth anyways...
sli...is not crossfire and crossfire is ATI... whatever im done.
