Dont I always say that he who screams the loudest about the cleanliness of other's hands usually hides the dirtiest?

THAT is why he screamed so loud about "legitness" and all that. He was making a fortune in game off some dupe. THe biggest bot police are always botters, the biggest screamers about CCFers are always CCFers and the biggest whiners about unfairness are always the least fair. That is how the world works.

I think you are hacker scum. Glad you're banned. Go play WOW.

How did we hack anything? Used in game functions, non modified client, no other programs.

Using a game exploit is the same as hacking... Still makes you a scumbag, still glad you're banned, still glad you are leaving for WOW, dont let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

if its true that it's only an in-game exploit than that doesnt make it any different than de-suiting on someones mercs to make them red.

even if it was with an in-game exploit it's not the same as de-suiting cause in this case introducing a shitload of gold into the server is more harmful than having someone lose some exp

I shall quote myself:

Quote:
CHAUD gg for loading a noob and trading items. Man, sometimes u can be such a jerk. I told Gargamel straight off tonight about the bow - and exactly where it could be found. I gather you think you got one over on me. Well, I think all you have managed to do is show how destructive you can be to everyone on this forum.
I should add here that yes of course there are screen shots.

The other thing about srt. Yes I remember CHAUD getting all up in a knot about that. There is a post on srf from last week about that in fact - SRT and Gamerzplanet were named by a hacker that i spoke with ingame, as forums that sold their usernames (because a lot of ppl use a stock username for every place they log in). Anywho, yes I am aware that that info came from a hacker. However, alerting ppl if their usernames are the same, to be very careful or change their pwds etc harms no one - except perhaps the ppl trying 2 brute force accounts.

If I recall correctly as well, when CHAUD was hacked and Hyori's gold mule was hacked, they both couldn't for the life of them figure out how it happened. Once I posted the conversation with the hacker, I'm pretty sure CHAUD said that was the missing link - that that was how they got his account.

Anywho the account is gone now, and lifetime bans r not reversable.

You need to reread that. He bought bows FOR Suta, not from her.

She was reluctent to accept .

LOL Im sure... I'm sure she will appreciate all you have done for her. You made her look like a run at the mouth SA by telling Tavern she told you they sell accounts, now you buy gear for her with duped gold.

If I were her, Id say, "Chaud? Chaud who?" and hope like hell I dont get removed from the program.

Hyper inflating the economy is just as serious as botting or more serious. It can screw the game for thousands of others and is a real threat to Joymax. Glad they dealt with it.

As for Chaud, he made an a*s out of himself accusing others then doing something just as bad. Why bother defending him, see ya in 100 years lil' buddy

Joymax needs a wake-up call or do you honestly prefer the stasis we were in? If indeed they can track the flow of gold, then the economy won't be hyper-inflated.

LoL I have only accused CHAUD in ONE place and that is HERE in this post where he publicly announced his work in duping gold. Oh and I dont give a shit, botting or gold dupping, theyre all bad. But hey, the botters dont go walking around with 25billion in gold! You, sir, are a dumbass. Go take some logic courses geesus.

Nothing and i mean nothing not bots not ccf not hacking the serv sending dos attacks sql injections etc and so on is more destructive than dupeing gold .

A currency dupe will kill a game faster than any other threat mmo's face.

Think about it if unchecked and circulated you will have 50 60 players with acces to to 5 6 billion gold each.

Forget 200 mill for sos try 1.2 billion.

The good part is you cant get away with it. A game is a computer program and a server is just a fancy computer with that in mind what happens when one of your programs does something out of its parameters ? you get an error box .

Same thing happens with a game every single item ingame has a code to it and no 2 are the same meaning every single gold coin is different from its neighbor if they werent you couldnt drop only 1 you would have to drop all you have .

so lets say my gold coin is 11011011 its the only 1 like that the server knows this. when my coin is duped the servers see that coin 11011011 has had a critical error the error being there are two of them.

I have been playing mmo's for a very long time and have ties to the industry and i can only think of 1 gold dupe that made it for more than a week and that was the eq2 dupe . And the guy who duped the trillions of gold across sony's servers and sold it away netting himself well over 80k usd is still in court to this day he will be lucky if sony dosent get everything he has to his name.

Joymax seems to be working hard to issue fixes, there is no shortage of server updates. I don't know what Joymax is or isn't doing, but there's probably a lot more work going into fixes than we realize.

Consider the enormity of the problem, new botting agents all the time, new hacks, new exploits, and a paid service like WoW is having problems. Considering the alternatives I would say Joymax may not be doing all that badly.

That's right, again I'm glad they dealt with the problem.

Although I think hyper inflation already exists to some extent with the selling of gold. This is impossible to track since it's not exploited or hacked, but botted, as far as I know.

Hahahah ROFL. No shit! NOW you get the point. Thats EXACTLY what everyone is concerned about: him having billions of gold more then other players and screwing up the economy. Goodjob, you scored 100% on this point.

I know that , but the principle is the same. You think about anyone who has used this trick, had they been the first to discover the bug to dupe gold you think they wouldnt have used it too? hmm sounds like a good poll.

arguing over what is better or worse to the game is rather pointless here. we all agree they all need to be fixed. i'm glad JM is fixing the gold dupe. i'm sure chaud is too. all we want to know is that JM is doing SOMETHING because of bot infestations, fraud, hacks, etc are troublesome.

Pfftt... they have an exploit. They're doing damage control. It will get fixed, then it's back to business as usual. I wouldn't expect this to cause any sudden revelation at Joymax that they better take care of other problems.

A wake-up call would be a sudden mass defection from the game. For now, the game is still attractive and engrossing enough that the botting and other current issues don't deter people from staying attached.

Unfortunately I think you've hit the nail on the head :(

Joymax are still making enough money from the way they currently run this game that they won't make any positive moves.

It is infuriating that they have a game that is potentially brilliant fun, and they only see the dollars they today.

I would think that the vacuum left by the departure of frustrated legit players will be easily filled by more azzhole botters Image

Quote:
To Chaud, Hyori and other members of your guild -

I acknowledge the sacrifice you have made to try to show the SRO World that Joymax is capable of jumping on a problem IF THEY WANT TO.

Thanks

Here's how I see it. There's gold time that I could be grinding right now, and Chaud is the reason that I can't. Bastard.

If you truly were as legit as you say, and you and your guild had intended to quit as you say. Then it would have been better to tell joymax about the exploit that you had discovered, and maybe sent out a few globals saying 'WE QUIT'. But no, you had to screw it over for literally thousands of people. You shut down the game you apparently love so much for who knows how long when joymax could simply have added an hour or so onto tuesday's inspection in order to fix the bug.

Yes, it is a good thing that you have alerted joymax to this exploit, but the way that you brought attention to it is what makes you an arsehole.

Get out of my house.

No jabbers, I wouldnt have used a gold dupe. Why? Cause I wouldnt have even looked for one in the first place. Why? I dont need one.

Avalon is a co-op.

one question remains:
how can you be so stupid to dupe gold on your level 70 account, or to transfer the money to that account...
you could have pulled this of by just creating a new char on a diff pc...
thus, as you claim, waking up joymax without compremising your level 70 account...

Or... you have to be high level to pull this off...
