One month later Adelphia users still cannot connect, unless you run a proxy. I cannot seem to find one that I can keep connected to for more than 10 minutes. Thus my noob character has stayed at lvl 51. Its quite disappointing since I saw a friend go from 56-65. Had not been from this I might be close to lvl 60 for the cap update.
In the last month I have become pretty digusted with Joymax and Adelphia. This has led to my decision to boycott silk(I know i can't buy any right now anyways) when I get back into the game. My hope now stands on Comcast. An ISP without a good record. According to them, the 1.3 million users from Adelphia they got in the merger will be switched hopefully by 10/27/06. Since I couldn't play SRO I downloaded some other free and/or free trial mmorpgs:
Conquer 2.0
Shadowbane
FlyFF(My first ever MMorpg)
Anarchy Online
RuneScape
Knight Online
I think there were 3 or 4 others I lost when I formatted my computer.
After playing these and testing them, I have come to the conclusion IMO anyways that Silkroad Online is the best free MMorpg out there. So I went and used the search button(yay someone can use it) and found the page with the link to the guide on getting started with the Japanese Version of the game. So I've been playing that about 15-30 minutes a day and am currently lvl 17. The people are a lot nicer in there and there aren't as many.

So I suggest to the people who still cannot play try using the Jap Version. If you would need any help getting started add me to your msn or yahoo.

Thanks for listening to a rant... Almost made me feel like Dennis Miller.
