Single player really is a pice of shit.
Boring turret section after turret section ....
Want to fly a jet? Nope! We are going to put you into the gunner seat and make it into a giant quick time event yay! ....

least bf3 has jets.

MW3 would be like, oh see this giant tank or this giant jet, to bad we forgot to build them so you can use them, our bad. Here you go why dont you just take this random gun and go commando on places we could easily shoot with a missle.

At least in MW3 you'll actually be able to see the damned enemy in dark places, and they wont be a super sniper even on easy mode.

I always play through games twice, once for story, once for hard mode. On Easy, the enemies ALWAYS see you regardless of how sneaky you are, and they ALWAYS shoot you easily, even if you're barely sticking out. Not to mention the fact that the only Jet sequence there is in single player, YOU DON'T CONTROL THE JET. What
the
fuck

Lawl theres goes my only incentive to play the SP, guess I'll stick to conquest for my jet training, and honestly the coppers are ridiculously way harder to fly than they were in BFBC2.....plus I don't know if its just me but for a game like this, the mini map is so lacking in detail????? :palm: Am I the only one bother by the fact that it looks like land+lakes to me whenever I look at the mini-map? I mean sometimes i have no idea if i guy just went into a wall of a building or something...Also I'm getting annoyed at the fact that the tact light/laser can blind me from a mile+ away if I just so look in thier direction (in broad daylight even :palm:).

Laser I can understand (even if it's annoying, but tact light is completely retarded. Broad daylight, 20 feet away, and I'm blinded? Bullshit.

Well think about this, maybe its a sign of how games are progressing... We all know that Single Player is a finite amount experience (i.e you will only play it X many times) However, Multiplayer is something that you can play and play and play till your heart's content, or BF4 comes out :P.

I guess the people making the big shots (i.e EA) realised that this is the case as well, and have started to change the way they think about/make games to reflect where they see the best demand for their efforts are.

Personally, i don't mind that when i get into the Single Player, it wont be amazing, but i know that when i start joining you guys on Multi Player its going to be awesome :)

considering how BF2 didn't really have a singleplayer at all, I'd think this is an improvement ^__^

Not saying its SP great or anything, but the focus of BF has always been multiplayer.

Well yes, even if they are shooting at you with just seeing a bit of you, you have to think in a real war anyone would keep shooting at you so you cant get a shot in and kill them.

I find it better.

I cant get past the 2nd co op mission. "Conveniently" starts lagging when we get to the objectives every time and the helicopter is impossible to control. Thought he was full of shit until I ended up the pilot and got 2 feet off the ground and the damn thing rolled upside down almost right away.. Anyone else experience issues? He's a pretty good pilot in multiplayer so I know it's not his lack of piloting skills.

Dutchy and I just beat our top score and set 16,400 on the helicopter mission. It's the easiest and quickest one for points. He helped me go from 100,000 to 250,000 in about 1 hour and 45 minutes; most of it done on the helicopter mission.

He's a better pilot than I but on that run I was the pilot. It was weird because while he was flying it seemed like we did it quicker and more efficient but that time we got big points.

This video is funny as Battlefield isn't really targeted for single player. At all. Look at Bad Company series. It was making fun of the hurrdurr russia take over the world xD!! nonsense. Even though the single player was REALLY short I enjoyed it. It wasn't a bad story and a stupid pull out of the ass plot.

Spoiler!

Oh jesus that name Key-J. Change it D: Those numbers look horrible!

Just if no one knew about it. It's free and hidden. Why? I don't know. I find it retarded that BF3 uses the master name instead of you know registering the master name and having a display name or something.

I love the Sks and M39 Emr. I got a 10 streak in less than a minute with the Sks.

I am in between classes a lot depending on what we need. Mostly Sniper or Engineer is what I go.

Question how does one use the javelin? I unlocked it the other day but had yet to have fire it cause I cant lock on too anything......also I switch between the engineer/support cause I can at least deal with tanks/LAV with ether class be it c4s or using the rpg/mines.

It should auto lock on to locations/vehicles, thats how it was in MW2. Maybe you have to hold fire button to lock on and fire it when you release it?
