There's no such thing as talissman.
But talismans are items u have to collect from the Forgotten World and trade for Sun, SoM or A Nova weapons. The talismans themselves don't give any direct advantage. Yes, there are many types of it.
Talismans are also these little thingies next to your head in the garment set(shoulder slot).
There are 12 degrees of it. Normal, SoS, SoM, Nova, Immortal, Destruction types. They give u extra defence, parry rate. When u add blues to it, u can get bonus Str, Int, HP and MP as well. U can get it as a drop from monsters or buy it.
