You just favorably quoted someone making it perfectly clear that he annoys the shit out of botters with his way of playing and then said "moral of story, don't annoy other people with your way of playing." Maybe I didn't make myself clear. I was just talking about the "legit or not" way to play. No one cares anymore if you're legit or not. If you decide to go the easy way, just be prepared for everything Balderdash mentioned

People bot so they can stand outside the gate for hours accomplishing nothing. The best part of SRO has always been the journey and botting ruins it. You rush to end-game for no end-game content, the people that say end-game content isn't important make me wonder if they've played an MMORPG other than SRO. End-game content is very important and when there is none the journey and memories you make along the way become central to good gameplay. Botting is ruins gameplay and gives botters a false sense of accomplishment as they sit outside gates for hours pvping for nothing.

A bot lets the program grind for days to accomplish nothing, a legit grinds by hand for days to accomplish nothing. I say just don't play sro period =( If you're playing for the social side of it, you're gonna get the same thing grinding legit or having the bot do it. So the game is a fail either way

Sure, maybe you have the bot grind and then log on to do trade runs or pvp. I just don't see the fun in that. dunno man, I am really enjoying legit play myself. And some way of voice communication makes it even easier to party grind.

So the game is a fail either way Did it ever occur to you that people enjoy grinding in European Parties? See, Grinding is part of the game. As a matter of fact, grinding is all the game has to offer. There is no end-game content and the PvP is imbalanced so why not enjoy the grind? If you can't enjoy 90% of the game why even play? The game is the grind.

euro party grinding is fun as shit. too bad no one wants to do it, and those that try to do it tend to hit too low level mobs.

This, Can you believe some1 once turned me away from ongs at lvl 29? Said he only wanted tank lvl 34+ This wasn't on Azteca ofc but still... I don't really mind the grind but i wish solo leveling was more easy to do. Not as fast as euro party but still it should be a little bit more productive.

It's the bots that killed the game, the bots who ks the good grinding places, bots who make buying gear next to impossible by destroying the economy. All bots destroy the game, whether directly or indirectly. Even if not directly, "good bots" (not that such a term exists) give people a tendancy to accept "less good" bots, then "even less good bots"... If nothing else, a bot takes a slot on the server that could be taken by a real player. Bots, any kind, do not belong on the server. So the game is a fail either way To me, the social part of it is what matters. The journey. The thing is, you get more by socializing while hand grinding than by socializing while botting. Both methods accomplish the end game, but hand grinding also accomplishes a more complete journey along the way. If you're going to just bot while socializing, that's pretty much just using a chat room while watching a video. You can do that with AIM or MSN while watching YouTube.

I never thought my observations and generalized facts/opinions would ever get 1.4k views.
I thank thee who has supported the legit word. I dis-contact myself who goes else where.
