ksro has always been the best place for sro imo anyway, it gets the updates first too lol. But what is wrong with tsro? it worked well last time, i think people just lost drive with the fact most only joined to wait it out for esro "zelos whatever".

Well, i am playing on KSRO anyway and i'll definitely stay there for now, as there is no other option. I would have left it for Zelos, but i probably won't leave it for any other SRO version currently available. I'd just try to help that ones, who want to build a legit community on KSRO, but i guess it won't be easy.

@RoqueWelle: Until Lv.80/90+ you won't have much contact to korean people anyway. And as you are the foreigner on their server, you should probably learn some important korean words, if you want to play there. Some koreans can speak quite good english too and most of them are really very friendly. Besides that there already is an english speaking community on our server, but they are taking plevel until lv.80+ too. The main reason, why i suggest taking KSRO is, that there aren't any bots at all. At least i didn't see any recently, not even goldbots. The GMs actually care about the korean servers and keep them clean. The downside is just that there aren't that many people in the lower level areas anymore and that ones, who want to start a new character usually plevel it until at least 80 before they actually start to play.

hmm well, im downloading the client right now, and i just remembered i had someone make me account but i was having trouble with the client. anyways, if anyone else is interested in trying this out add me on msn cbkillasrf@hotmail.com

@Hideoki if we can get a decent amount of people, then you could send out that mass email, that would be amazing.

@Kronos if people start to join this "thing", could you tell other people where to get KSSN's?

I'll help with all guides, which are required to register and set up KSRO. I won't post them here though, as some content of it is probably not allowed here and i don't want to post it on a public forum anyway.

If people still have problems after reading the guides, i'll try my best to solve these issues. But they should at least try to figure out some stuff on their own. I am definitely not going to make accounts for everyone, who wants to come at KSRO.

Ksro = 3-4 hours to get an account , 10-15mins to log in :O + lag and like 90% of players are caped .
But sure if you guys get like 7 or more players it is worth it , and i might join too

I could get the ball rolling massively if i knew i'd still have internet access within the next few days, i was one of the people who initiated the tsro idea with the esro guys, we tried vsro also but decided to stick with tsro. And with the sql database i have of the old forums itd be a huge help, as im sure allot of the esro guys would be up for this idea.

Just a few facts about kSRO:
- There is no need to build a "legit community" because there is no bots. Everyone is legit. There is the occasional keypresser but it's been ages since I've seen one.
- Active parties start at 102 monsters. Raid parties are happening of course and Jangan Cave Room 8 parties happen quite often as well. Everything else is mostly powerparties (not trying to discourage making your own parties of course)
- Once 80+ you can start partying at 102 monsters, if guildrules allow it, I believe Kronos doesn't support this too much.
- There is already quite a few international players on kSRO (don't worry, most are quite experienced and non-noob :P)

EDIT: O hai Hideoki! How's life?

-You are right. There is actually already a legit community, but as everyone is already lv.90+ in it, that won't really help them at the start, unless they would take plevel, but i don't really recommend that.
-Jangan Cave Room 8 pts are kinda rare recently.
-It's better, if they play together from the start, if they can get enough people to actually do that. It's true, that i don't like plevel and power-partys that much, if other regular pts with same level people are available. Why would you prefer power-pts, if you have enough people around your level to do pts on your own?
-Yes, there are quite a few international people, but most of them are already lv.90+ and if they start a new character, they'll just plevel it until Lv.80 and join the pts in Alexandria area. I think it would be better to revive the pts in the lower levels too. That's definitely more fun than just getting pleveled until 80.

When i invited friends to ksro, the worst part was helping them to get their ksro working, helping them log in and making them accounts, since none of them managed to make one on their own.
I have made over 20 accs, but we got only about 8 people playing. I had also made a guild. But we didn't get any more players and ppl got bored. And then they quit. Had some fun though, luring mobs in a powerparty, doing 5* trades and hunting uniques. Much more fun than i would have had when the same stuff would have happened in isro imo. Atm i don't play ksro, cos i play isro, my friend doesn't, cos he has a piece of sh!t PC(when 3 of us wanted to do a trade, he had to do a relog and log in with his other char. By the time we had done a trade from Const to Sama(me 1*, my other friend 3*), he had finally logged in. It took about half an hour for him to relog), other friends are just not playing, dunno why. But i still have my ksro, and maybe we'll get going some day again.

that's the only problem...

don't you guys see that THE ONLY REASON why a legit project is duable is related to HOW EASY it is to get started...

@hideoki, i don't really think, even 5%, of the email adresses in that database are even real. and even then, it would be 95% elitepvpers guys who you don't even want on your server... Anyway this is the zelos online topic after all ^.^

I played on the Open Beta about 1 month ago. (Account PsykoPunk)

How is the current status? Still Open Beta, or is it now fully open?
The official forums don't work for me, so I can't get my information from there.

Euh ok. Thanks for the info.

The crew is planning to revive it, or did they announce themselves that it was over? Any reason for it? Didn't get the code running properly or so?
When I left, the server was pretty busy actually...

I've been on kSro just recently and from what I've seen, I'd still say a legit movement would work better on iSro than kSro. Firstly off there's all the problems related to setting up the game, which already turn off half the players trying to join. But this, you already know. The rest of the new players get turned off by the community, I myself got turned off by it. First let's see how the community works.

There is one english speaking legit union at the moment, which is SoM. It's made of SoM (level 95+), Fable (any levels, but almost all 80+) and two other guilds. Then you have Adamant which is a no-plvl/powerparty guild. Because of everyone being so high level already, only those who were there from the beginning get any real parties. The low levels get plvled to 80+, hopefully getting there before the elite group hits the cap. In other words, expect at least a two month wait, getting powerleveled, before you get to actually play the game. Is this what you want? Most players will answer no. And this is a first reason why people get turned off kSro when they manage to get there.

A second reason is the fact guild leaders are taking elitist methods over recruitment. SoM is 95+: if it happens to be the only guild you can join, have fun with it. Another guild, Adamant, is anti-plvl/powerparties, so if you wanna join them, have fun trying to catch up, soloing, while they do parties and level up faster than you. Then you have Fable, which doesn't recruit "unknown" people. So if you don't know anyone in Fable, and wanna have fun in kSro, "you can have fun outside Fable" like the leader says. According to him, they are happy with the 80+ group they have, and any new levels who arent happy with it can **** off. You may blame Avalon as much as you want for being severe, but they're nothing in comparison to these kSro guilds when it comes to recruitment. How can you expect new waves to start with guilds like this?

It's really too bad the current guild leaders have this selfish ambition of keeping their guilds "pure", because if the new players all had a guild to stick with, they'd eventually get to know each other faster, and form new waves quickly. I think if any of you guys are considering going on kSro but haven't yet, someone should take the initiative of creating a new guild for you to gather up, and make sure you wait for at least 8 active players before you begin getting levels, or else you'll either end up playing alone or quitting.

Sum up for lazy people:
-kSro English guilds are run by elitists, so if you're a low level don't expect having enough people for a party until level 80+.
-If you do wanna party all the way, your best bet is to try and gather all the low levels in the same guild, but it will still be tough.

Why a new server on iSro would be better? Because it's easier to install and you have more people. It's just that simple. Also if anyone is up for a new, low level guild on kSro, you can count on me to join as well. For iSro too if you have gathered at least 8 active players.

Zelos just needs a coder from what I assume?

I would help but I am not much of a programer so I can't help a whole lot.
