IIRC it means they have a war going on. It's been a while though.

Ohhk, fair enough.. first time I've noticed it though haha. Suppose guild wars don't happen very often anymore anyway.

Guild wars do happen but often it's with capes because two people get into a fight and they bring the guild and friends and stuff. Hate it...

People should declare guild war a whole lot more. It used to be fun back in the early days of SRO. You'd be out grinding and you see an enemy riding by and you'd attack them sending them back to town. That would happen from wars that lasted a while.

I can see why guild waring is not as alluring as it used to be since so many people are botting It sucks really.

Not to mention there is no real reward. No online tracking of won wars or rewards in form of exp/gold (besides that what you bet I guess?)/items etc. It's just not worth it to most.

I guess some people don't care about the rewards and just want to declare war for revenge of some sort. I remember back when I started SRO in 2006, my guild leader at the time banned everyone from the guild, gave the guild to one of our members (who the original leader didn't like much), let him add some people to the guild, then the old guild leader declared war on us. He and his friends were much higher level than we were. Their only instructions were to kill us on sight, anywhere on the map. Repeatedly.
