Same here. I lucked up isy all by herself with my 7x spear nuker. As I was luring her away a union mate ran up and murdered me. I RR'd only to get ksed by a level 100 guild mate. Needless to say, I wasn't happy.

Killed LY and Saytan. No drops IIRC. When ever I camped for a unique they skipped a spawn. I only got them cuz of reverse returns lol

And we had only just recently joined the union....so yeah. Guild-mate didn't realize I had RR. And intended for me to have the kill. It just didn't work out that way. Ah well.

This always lacked in SRO.
Most MMO which have unique/boss have them drop special items which really make uniques hunting worth it. Like their 'own' weapon or armor part. Example: Lord Yarkan Shield, Tiger Girl Boots.
At least in all MMO I played which have boss, they had something like that. Kinda lame to go hunt a unique, get the kill, and get only worthless items.
They kinda tried with the Invalid Repairs items, but this was a fail, since they have no advantage over regular item...

What about the famous status some people tend to think they get for killing them? lol yeah, but gold wise this does not help. And you have to go to Rev6 or spot the logs in game to see that someone actually killed an unique. I think you should get more than bragging rights for killing them. For myself, after I killed an unique once, i dont really care about killing him again and again. And as for the high lvl uniques, i dont even bother with them since they take too much time to kill, for the little, if any, benifit you get.

People would stop going after low lvl uniques since they would give low lvl 'unique items', and would go at uniques according to their level. So they would need great party for that, and I doubt it would be always the same people that get the kill on the same unique, since more (hopefully) party would do unique hunting, because of the benifit. And why account bound? Whats wrong with selling them? What would be nice is each unique would have his own items set. Like Yarkan would have Yarkan Chest, Yarkan boots, Yarkans shoulders, Yarkan Blade, ect. So if you get same item twice, why not sell it?^^

You_Dead_Yet wrote: No need. Why a limit? And why account bound? Whats wrong with selling them? So if you get same item twice, why not sell it?^^ Limit levels: Only a certain level group may fight certain uniques .. TigerGirl is level 20, so only 1-29 can hunt her; Cerberus is level 24, only 1-34 can hunt. People don't even care that the unique drops nothing when they're 110, they only care about the pop up saying X has killed Unique. Account bound: Bind them so people would not dedicate themselves to hunting just to sell. This way unique hunting would widen the audience, allowing those who haven't hunted to be able to hunt. Having a duplicate item drop may motivate players to party with other players who have not hunted. You could always have two types of items, one that binds on pick up and another that binds when equipped.

They get shit items now too and they still go for the lower uniques. The people in the game are just assholes and thats why they hunt lvl 20 uniques all day. The chance a low lvl char will kill a unique around his own lvl is 1 in a thousand or even lower. God I hate sro's community.
