Ye, but they are being fixed. Server is getting more and more stable and many bugs have been fixed already. There are still quite a lot to go though, but the server improved a lot recently.

havent played in a while, returned and was lvl 52, with a few quests
FW quests for 51-60, 90k xp rewards, and 200k xp, all together (5 quests or so) around 800k xp
Flower 46, hunt 500, 900k xp
Spiders 48, collect something, 900k xp
Pegs, kill 500, 5.4m xp
Spiders 53, 100 quest bags, 2.1m xp (or 2.4m xp, not online right now, so not 100% sure)
Spiders 52, hunt 300, (around 2m xp too, not sure exactly)

I did quests a long time ago, such as penons, cuz we PTed there, it was good xp too :)

ok, by a few calculations

Spoiler!

we can say that:
apart from the sp and gold reward, that's a great improvement, at least you can gap without worrying so much about lvling speed anymore

Well, all the old quests are still there on KSRO, but they have a lot more exp (unfortunately not more skill exp). And around Hotan they added quite a lot new quests such as the collecting quest on lv.48 spiders or the hunting spiders quest. There is a kill quest and a collect quest for almost every monster between lv.43 (maongs) and lv.60 (devil yetis). Together with the old quest, there are 5 quests on some monsters, like Bunwangs (Collecting nephrites (Bunwang+Small Bunwang), Hunt 300 Bunwangs, Hunt 300 Small Bunwangs, Collect Items from Bunwangs, Collect Items from Small Bunwang)

Also there are some new quests related to Forgotten World. Apparently you can get 8D or 9D Seal of Star, if you finish all the quests, but you can only do them in a certain lv. range. For the 9D Seal of Star, you need lv.71-80 for example, as you have to kill monsters in Flame Mountain lv.71-80. For the 8D Seal of Star you need Lv.35-50, as the monsters for this quest are in Lv.35-50 Earth Ghost Town.

There is just one problem with these FW quests. It's pretty hard to actually figure out, what you have to do for the quests, as everything is in korean of course. We only noticed these quests, because a friendly korean told us, how to take the quests for the 9D Seal of Star. The quests for the 8D Seal of Star, i found by myself, although the korean kept saying there is none for 8D, but i can't do it anymore, as i am already lv.57.

And then there is the thing with the 8 cards from the boxes in FW, which has already been mentioned by XeX. At Lv.35-70 (35-50, 51-60, 61-70 Earth Ghost Town) you'll get 8D Seal of Sun. At Lv.71-90 (71-80, 81-90 Flame Mountain) you'll get 9D Seal of Sun. At Lv.91-100 Shipwreck, you'll get 10D Seal of Sun and at Lv.101-110, you'll get egyptian weapon seal of comet. It's just quite hard to get all the cards. The last cards for 11D are selling for 900M+.

I'm a lv36 nuker with a 5 gap. I get like .02% per kill with a 5 gap. Absolutely ridiculous. In order to level I need to kill 5000 monsters? No thanks. I have a life.

Getting power leveled on the other hand is much much faster. A good taxi gets me 40-50% an hour. Even the free taxis are semi-decent.

So to everyone saying "dude, just play the game the way it was meant to be played":
Tell me what's fun about spending ten hours killing the same two or three monsters by yourself just to level. That's right. BY YOURSELF. At my level, the community is quite underpopulated. I can't even buy any gear cause there's no one selling.

Also, playing as a hunter or thief is basically impossible since probably 90% of the community is higher level than me and won't hesitate to slay me. So the only safe job I can do is a 1 star trade, which takes about half an hour and only gets me 100k at most.

If no one botted or power leveled, lv36 would be closer to the average level, and at least I'd be able to PvP some people. But since most people bot or get power leveled, one must power level in order to not be at a huge disadvantage. So guys, stop grinding, stop doing the stupid quests that give like 20% of the exp needed to level after killing 1000 monsters, and play the game the way the majority of people are playing it, not the way it's meant to be played.

If you disagree, go ahead and grind. You may have to drop out of school, quit your job, not go out on Friday nights, or break up with your girl. But I'll be there to smile upon your corpse when I own you in PvP while laughing at the time you waste trying to level.

>implying he has school, a job, goes out on Friday nights, and a girlfriend

lol.

I remember when silkroad wasn't a botting game, and everyone killed in parties. All before party mobs, and elites were brought into the game. Now it's just bot, or lose your life.

For those people saying you get 0.01% a kill at lvl 105, QQ more, were low level, were supposed to level fast, not play literally for a month to get 1 level so we can finally use that awesome new weapon we bought. No, were supposed to party, grind, pvp, hunt uniques that get killed by lvl 110 full nova nukers anyways just for the fun of finding a unique and having a slim chance of seeing your name on your screen and on all the other people's screen in the game saying "TsterT has killed Urichi" or something.

And actually, some of us do have lives, shocker ain't it? Some people leave school saying to their friends, "Hey, wanna hang out today?" instead of, "Hey, wanna go grind on silkroad? I'm trying to get lvl 110 today." So before you come say, "Don't whine, I get 0.01% a kill at level 105." Were in the 30's, and getting on double that, 0.02%. Now isn't that just sad?

How long does it take you to kill one monster? Let's assume you can kill on average every 4 seconds (solo) at an area with a good spawn rate. In 20,000 seconds, you could kill your 5,000 monsters. That's only approximately 5 hours. Take twice as long per kill? 10 hours needed. Granted, you don't have to play that all in one shot, but it should be doable in a few days or a week. Form an 8-man party, and it's MUCH faster.

People are lazy...

"Taxis" (stupid name) have greatly contributed to the demise of SRO. Enough said.

Why not get a group of friends together to start over, perhaps on a new server? Then at least you wouldn't be alone. The servers are like this partly because of the mindset you are condoning.

"Everyone is doing it. I should to!" No wonder iSRO has turned to crap. It had such potential!

I got a leaked copy of that bot. It's also cracked. I should send it in for repairs.
