Has anyone heard of this game? I've gotten into the European beta, and have been playing that. However since I am in America, the latency was terrible and delayed. However, the game itself was very fun.
Here are some some good Videos you may want to watch if you've never seen this game.
http://www.zam.com/bffreport.html?bffreport=30
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMkBwHJaSkw

These two are great gameplay vids.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLLi37y6 ... re=related

Imagine the game as an online, free-roam, GTA. The customization is easily the best I've seen in any MMO to date. From the cars to the clothes, the in game image editor, the look of your character. I'd try to sum up how the game works, but it would be easier for you to just watch.

So I just recently got into the NA beta, who's gonna be playing with me?

The current minimum hardware requirements for APB are as follows:

Intel Core2 Duo 2GHz or equivalent
2GB Main Memory
Geforce 7800 256 MB or equivalent
256kbit/sec internet connection

The current recommended hardware requirements for APB are:

Core2 Quad 2.4Ghz or equivalent
4GB Main Memory
Geforce 8800 512 MB or equivalent
20GB free disk space
XP x32 / Vista x64 (Vista 32 not yet advisable) / Windows 7 x64

These requirements may change because APB is still a product in development.

I've played the European Beta for two weeks somewhere in May. It's really not as good as it seems.

Pros
+ Great customisation ; Lots of Facial features & Clothing(Not just T-Shirts)
+ Graphics are beast
+ Built-in VoIP which adds to the RP element.

Cons
- So god damn repetetive. Missions after Missions.
- Ok playing on the EU beta when I live in Canada didn't help, but DAMN does the car handling sucks in this game.
- Monthly Fee ; This game is far too repetetive to be a P2P or even a "Buy the Box" game.
- Instead of a huge town, you get 3 Districts and one of them is a Lobby.
- Mission Concept ; Most missions involve you or him camping a spot. It's ridiculous,as a Enforcer I kept getting pwnt the second I would come to the spot I was suppose to "patrol".

ExSoldier's Final Verdict
*drumroll*
6/10 ; This game has too many flaws for a game thats going to be P2P. I doubt the graphics & custom features will save this game. I'll just go back to play San Andreas Roleplay Server or wait for GTA V

Ok this game is so much better on the NA version  Played non-stop for 5hours with the same group of Enforcers :D I love all the "movie scenes" you can pull out, like drifting with your car to pick up your friend, jump over fence, hide behind a wall, etc.

Alienware is giving 10,000 Keys EVERYDAY on Alienware Arena. Sadly those Keys only last 10h.

If you got you're Key from AlienwareArena(Key to the City) the beta is over then. I wish I could transfer my "non-limited" EU Beta account to a NA one :(

As some of y'all probably heard, RTW sold their upcoming game MyWorld so APB will be canned along with RTW which results in me having nothing to play now. It's a shame that despite all the rumor surrounding the management making wrong decisions around the game, I still liked it a lot despite it was not perfect. I picked it up after coming back from summer this year and I've been having a great time on it. Long story short, since the game was announced to shut down yesterday, is there any MMORPG out there that is worth my time? Just don't mention WoW, FF14 or anything that is still TBA like GW2 and Tera.

That's really sad. I remember being totally hooked to that game, so awesome...
