even if it would release before esro, how many people could join this server? 20 max? I even doubt if he even has the knowledge and resources to host a server like this

Either that, or he just lacks the lazyness to take 3 years to get done with it. With him being better than doom at getting a server ready I don't think you should throw in such remarks. I mean, I like doom and all, but when I see servers like this getting done so fast, and even supporting euros in the future, I become deceived at waiting for esro... hell I'm already having doubts on it ever coming out.

Well, I know this guy. How do you expect him to code a decent server if he even uses google translator to post things on a forum? Don't get me wrong, i'm not dissing his project, just watch out with the things he has done in the past.

you cant make a good SRO game with a emulator copy, u need the server files WHICH U BUY FROM JM for a big price, a emulator is illegal, server files are not. reason why ECSRO pissed sro off cuz of losing customers/ releasing shit be4 jm did. so yah! good luck keeping this up

hmm, no. Stolen server files, the ones that ecsro used, are illegal. Emulators are not, and you could even make an emulator more stable than the original server files.

WTF?
Where does he use Google translator if he has a staff of translators? That makes no sense.
Clearly a case of eSRO fanboys getting upset the competition is well ahead of schedule.
Also Atibu is hilariously clueless. Emulators are wrong and they have been shut down. Blizzard has shut down numerous servers running emulators. Speaking of google, try using it.

Well, he does have some experience with emulators, he was one of the first to start it. and Wello27, since when is joymax = blizzard? I'm thinking that you are the clueless one here, emulators are less illegal than stolen server files, like ecsro or ecsro's remake use. Emulators, being a fully self coded piece of software, are mostly deemed as legal, though this can differ depending where you live. and in blizzards case, sure they can shut down private servers, they have the resources to do it, but have they ever shut an emulator project down? does joymax have the same resources and knowledge as blizz? They don't even have an office in Europe...

Whatever fanboy.
Arcane-Project server is up.
Registration page is up and will be opened to the public in 2-3 days. Expect to be playing in 2-3 days.
In the mean time, download the kSRO Client, update the client and setup your ex-loader.

Im not joining arcane there is too many bugs and the rates are only 15x.. shine on that.. bug example is u can npc ur item and then rebuy it back and it dont take ur gold then u can resell it again and keep doing it.. The bow range is too big... and when ur stuck you can still hit the mobs.. lolz they have alot of work to do.. and the crit is repetitive and not right when u hit a mob..

Really, no one cares about lesser bugs. They won't have big problems with them like you suggest. Something > nothing. Amen to that, pretty much, the esro guys could have just made a 60 cap chinese only server a year ago and worked on updates and stuff(euro) while they had the server up and running, people would have made donations which would have given doom some wiggle room to *hire* GMs or whatever so that he could just focus on adding euro etc etc Im sure about 99% of the non-botting srf population here would have been playing and enjoying it, sure not 30x rates but the anti bot system, 3-5x sp rates and just a 60 cap would have made the server wonderful, popular and leave people waiting for more WHILE enjoying the server. . .AND it would have created a great community Never understood why it had taken so long when it could have been so easy. Oh well for me the psro servers are just a time sink until Guild wars 2 cums out as that game will kill every other game out there (maybe untill Tera comes out)

Because doom is surrounded by people constantly forcing down his throat the idea that he's only a volounteer and that he shouldn't be bothered.
