They probably meant by Noob Hero a Hero that is really easy to play. We have the exact same Hero in HoN(Nighthound) and players feel the same way. He gets a Perma Invis and even though it can be countered by items,lets face it people in Pubs never think of buying it. Then eventually he gets farmed and pwn.

Riki is a 'noob hero' in 2 ways.

Many people consider windwalk heroes 'noob' because they are harder to die with (you're invisible)

also riki is a shitty hero who offers very little to a team, but he's GREAT in lower class games (pubs) and can dominate. Upper class games he is never picked though..Very item dependent and a sub-par skill set.

Riki can be a trouble but most of the times shutting him early will ruin his game. I do like playing him and rice farming like there is not tomorrow :roll:

My favourite hero is dusa so I must be a huge fan of rice farming :sohappy:

Medusa? I don't like her Ult anymore. Sure it can be helpfull for escaping but when chasing, it's not usefull anymore

Medusa? I don't like her Ult anymore. Sure it can be helpfull for escaping but when chasing, it's not usefull anymore

It makes me almost ungankable during my afk farming sessions :sohappy:

If you doubt my riki statement, go and look at any high tier replay and show me riki being played. 99 times out of 100 you won't find one.

Smoke bomb pales in comparison to many other skills..especially with true strike. I've played dota for over 4 years..I know what I'm talking about.

Competetive Scene is all about the metagame though, I don't decide which hero are good by watching who the pros play at Tournaments.

@Riki = in reality, it's a shitty hero for competitive play. But in pubs... it is a different story. Pubs are so noobs that sa can pwn with only treads. If you think sa is good for other than pub, then my friend you are a major noob.

There's a bear with claws that adds more damage on each attack.. forgot his name.. but i think hes a really good carrier plus he can tank so good.

Do I have to repeat myself? Its exactly what I said, Riki way better in pubs than he is in Competetive games. Now altough I believe he might have a small place in Competetive game,my point was I don't judge if a Hero is good by wether or not it is played in Competetive scene.

New dota 6.67 , dusa nerfed again by the frog :soosad:

massive buff for tree and magnus imo, imagine kunkka with the new empower :dope:

@Above posts: Riki is played very much by Playmate recently winning most of the games. :sohappy:

It is deadly, but only against pubs. In a real game after I smoke I have two choices, die after or save my blink and use as an escape method.

Sure in theory it's great for ganks..but how often do you set up so nicely? How often does someone not buy early dust/gem/wards? On paper he may be great but so are many other combos. Slark is AMAZING (even more so with new agi item) but in game he's only good for pubs.

Hes too OP.. i mean 4% Hp regeneration when no hostile is near? it's like haing two heart of terrasque..

He has HORRIBLE stat gain, low Hp and is very easy to take out before he can become super saiyan slark with 200 agi. Dust > slark
