I love it when your impaling a splicer on your drill, he's convulsing in pain, and your little sister goes "Look daddy, he's dancing!"

Anyone who has already finished it what are your thoughts? Likes and dislike, would you recommended it, no rating necessarily, games shouldn't be brought/rent because of ratings should be brought/rent because it is an enjoyable game. I'm taking it slow, still in the part where I have to pump water out of a Park. Thoughts on the multi player?

I finished it, and I really loved the ending. 2k kept up with their storytelling imo, at least at the end. I was sort of lukewarm at the beginning, the story was pretty slow. However, the end was just amazing.

I recommend renting it if you've played the first one, I can't recommend buying simply because the game is so short, only about 8hrs long depending on difficulty.

I finished it. The story telling is good but there are a few plot holes. Game play is basically the same as the first bioshock and the game is extremely short; about 6-9 hours. I didn't play the multiplayer because I suck at first person shooters and it wouldn't be fun for me. Overall I would say this game isn't worth $50, maybe $30 but not $50.

A great story?

I mean its not like you play a game because of all the new ways of killing people.

Haven't even finished the first one. Couldn't get through it the first time, almost fell asleep. Had to go run around looking for some plant for something. Don't even remember.

I was disappointed. Really you're better off just buying Bioshock 1 and leaving it at that. The gameplay is exactly the same. The Level design is exactly the same. The progression is exactly the same. The graphics are exactly the same. Hell even some of the characters are exactly the same. The story whoever is worse than Bioshock 1. Its not bad story though by any stretch of the imagination, better than most FPS stories. And the atmosphere while using the same tricks as the first one still startled me on occasion even when i knew it was coming.

My problem with Bioshock 2 is that while its a good game on the overall its too much like its predecessor without having the same impact because, well, its a sequel. It seems like nothing you did in Rapture before had any effect on this game at all so while its set after the first game if you're just picking it up that isn't relevant or necessary information because its never really touched on...

i dunno...this upset me for some reason, i got bored of it very quickly but since its so short it didn't matter...im glad i didn't buy it though, i'd have been pissed (roommate bought it) I'll save my money for ME2...

I could never bring myself to finishing the first game. Bored me to tears, and it was pathetically easy after a while.

I like this one better. Drill Dash, mang.
