Okay, I gots a question about Xbox Live. I was wondering if you could have 2 live accounts on the same xbox, so me and my bro could both have one.

And if so, can we vs each other using the same tv ?

Sorry I just had to do that.

Anyways, you don't need two xbl accounts to play against your brother...

Depends on the game. With Halo 3 you can use 2 XBL gold accounts to play online on the same xbox, but for some gametypes it's not needed. But for CoD:MW2 you can't go online with 2 accounts (both gold or not).

Anyway, yes you can have two gold accounts on the same Xbox (I know for sure since I got 2 accounts with gold xD)

2 separate accounts means 2 separate gold subscriptions

if you face him in private on split screen or system link you level up just like online but you can't transfer things you unlock on split screen to online, it does however allow you to use your online level on split screen by enable xbox live unlock,if you do you won't be able to level up in split screen though

Yeah, but I don't always have gold on one of them. Sharing one with a friend so we buy for that one and sometimes if I want to play with him (he's studying somewhere else) I just get like 1 or 3 months gold so we can play =p Not like it's that much money.
