Random Heroics. Got Gundrak. A green rifle dropped and the warrior in our group needed it. It was an upgrade. >.>

Decided that I don't like tanking on the DK. Got some healing gear on the shaman and started doing some random heroics + nexus for the mace.
It was fun.

The only time I have trouble getting agro while tanking on my dk is when I grab a group and some idiot pulls two others.

We continued our ICC 10 man from Wednesday. After quite a few wipes we managed to down Festergut. Damage was never the issue, keeping up the tanks was the main problem usually but we did in the end.
We then kept failing on rotface. Kiting wasn't optimal and quite a few times the big ooze was wreaking havoc near the dps pile.
BTW on a side note: for those who have done it. How do you manage the injections + getting the small slime into the big one?
Do you cleanse or let "nature" run it's course? And I (and the others) had issues getting the small one close enough to the big one, without getting murdered by the big one.

What we were doing on Rotface was merging on Big Ooze, letting the third debuff run its course and kiting the small ooze, cleansing fourth, merging to Big Ooze, Big Ooze merged with Big Ooze = only 1 stack gained.
Still yet to down him however. A really fun fight.

If the big ooze is raping the DPS in the middle, make sure you have your raid literally stand under the boss, not only it helps avoiding the slime sprays, your DPS and healers will be less likely to steal aggro from the big ooze if he's going wide enough. Make sure your MT isn't failing on threat though. We use the black circle in the room as a mark for that.
The trick here is to have paladins in raid be ready to cast HoF on the OT whenever he has to run through floods, since I was actually kiting it as a warrior and since I can't really maintain much threat on it, I'll have to go wide and a holy paladin is assigned to follow me and keep me up if I get hits and give me HoF. I think he also cleanses whoever that has the infection on them, and calling it out on vent so they don't overlook it. The floods hit ~5k in 25 man and ~1.7k in 10 man per second with nature resistance totem dropped so it doesn't really hurt unless your tanks are undergeared, which is likely seeing they got raped by Festergut.
Since when the small oozes spawn, they will have 500k threat ahead on the target with the infection, and is immune to taunt, no one or even tanks can steal aggro of it. So what we did was we just instantly cleanse the disease when it hits to reduce damage taken and by the time the guy with the infection reaches the OT who is running circles around the room, the ooze would have spawned by then.
Also do remember that this boss has a soft enrage timer, as the fight goes on longer the amount of infection speeds up, as long as your raid knows what to do for that fight, it shouldn't be a problem, the main thing here is to maintain controls of the ooze. Yell out who gets it in vent and make sure they don't ever ever run back to the pile in the middle without ensuring the ooze they are kiting merged with the one the OT is kiting. Last thing you need is to have 2 big oozes to handle when the boss is <50% health. Make sure you save heroism till like 20% left on the boss to give you that final push to burn the boss down.
Another tip for the ooze explosion is to run to the edge of the room, since no one is ever there other than the OT. Also, don't start running before you see the projectile gets fired up in the air to prevent being raped by ooze missiles.

A very random but enjoyable night... It's now around 6am and I just cleared MC for the first time ever! Standing around in Ironforge, as per usual, and got talking to a 60 twink, whose friend was going to take him into ZG. He asked me along and I accepted as I had nothing else to do. He then had to leave, so me and his friend, an 80 drood, 2 manned the whole of ZG including Hakkar. We then made our way over to AQ20, but a guildie of mine came online so I asked him along too. We cleared the trash in AQ40 for mounts, of which I go 2, then cleared the entire AQ20 except the Wasp boss as we didn't have any ranged. Then a paladin came online in my guild so we grabbed him too and made our way to Molten Core, clearing all the bosses including Rag for the achievement. Wall of images! Fun. It's a game afterall.

Wow, I had a really similar day,but about year ago, like 2 weeks before WotLk Me and a bunch of pugs decided to do some old content. We did ZG,then AQ20,then we spent 3-4h on AQ40 -_- But then we failed at Cthun second form (We were lv.70):x Fun. It's a game afterall. Went to ICC 10. Got all the way up to Rotface without wiping more than once on Festergut, and no other times throughout. Ended up winning 4 things during the run: Midnight Sun, Sliver of Pure Ice, Mag'hari Chieftain's Staff, and Sister's Handshrouds. I ended up giving the latter two to a friend in the raid cause they were huge upgrades to her, rather than just being fixable upgrades to me.

Transferred back to my old server, Balnazzar to chill with a real life friend of mine. Ended up pugging ICC10 with some in game friends. No wipes until Rotface, then wiped once, downed him, and called it until Sunday when we'll go in and down Putricide. Did not get any drops, but got my crafted boots made. http://www.wowhead.com/?item=49906Very sexy upgrade. Then helped my guild down 25ToC for the second time, was proud of my 11k on twins.

After 3 hours of wiping and a trash respawn we got rotface down on 10 man.
And the wrong cloth item dropped. Needed hands not bracers but it was fun.
