I've been 50 for a couple weeks and I'm bored of the game now. No one PvPs in the abyss, but if they do it's always some **** thats hacking. If you don't know theres a hack to remove some of the animation to make you attack faster and somehow catch up to 16 flight speed. <-- Not Farking possible to catch up to 16 speed. A ranger that has full miregent(w/e its spelled) gear with full abyss gear that hacks isn't the person you wanna fight. Kinda gay how NCsoft does NOTHING to these people. Yeah we've sent reports about this kid already, but NCsoft's reply is "we're looking into it" for the past month.
People bot to 50 and get hundred million kinnah like that, ap swap to get a good piece of gear, hack in the abyss, and all other crazy sorts of shit.
Think this is my last month of sub for Aion. Game sucks at 50. Least this sub will last me until MAG.

Never heard of this hacking. The abyss is kinda of empty at many points..a bit disappointing but I still enjoy the game. I know there are macros that can cancel some animations such as the flight taking off, but I haven't heard of cancelling attack animations..

It's a hack that's why it cancels it. I never knew about it until a week ago. Google Aion cancel animation and you'll probably find it. If not go check the leading site of hacks.

As for that glitch that somewhat cancels the animation of attacks; if you are talking about the jump glitch that cancels animations, its more of a glitch then a hack. Basically if you jump up in the air and use an insta-cast skill just as you hit the ground, you'll skip the animation and get the effect. Is that what you refer to?

No, you can actually make it auto cancel without glitching, but by hacking. I'm not entirely sure how it works. I found out about it a couple weeks ago and never really cared for it.

lol I was trying to tell the SMs to dispel the cleric/chanter buffs on the deity.
I didn't die though....I used the return skill when things started to get ugly. We could have taken it if all the high level legions bothered to show up.

We could have taken it if Flawless helped or if the Asmos's stopped to PvP for a sec and get off the deity.

I heard that Moirae and the rest of Flawless are boycotting fort takes until NCSoft gets rid of the 30 min cap limit for all forts. Or at least changes it so that lower forts get 30 mins, uppers get 45 mins, upper-mids get an hour, and divine gets the full hour+half.

It's true, [bot name =x] offers an animation hack that makes your skills have almost no animation time. that leads to ridiculous attack speeds and casters that dont have to do animations for nukes, just channel time. also offers instant CC pot activation, so they'll pot instantly when under an abnormal status. Who cares though, 95% of the people are under 50 because all 50s quit. There's just no endgame.

I heard that they didn't help last weekend because it was double exp.

Well; whatever the case is now, I think the Elyos pissed off a bunch of Asmos on AionSource and got them back to their old fighting spirit again. Just yesterday we had a half alliance of lower to mid 40s going for that Abyss boss on Miren Island, and we got that thing down to about 20% before an alliance full of people from Sinister came and wiped us out.

I remember that. Some guy was yelling in region chat that some Elyos is killing the boss over there and Sinister needs to come kill them

I wish I was in a slow moving server. Siel sucks when all the forts are taken and only place to farm for bloods is the core. Hey look the core is whored by the other race.
Asmo people are such pansies. Also getting 30 panda medals suuuuuuuucks.

How does Siel and Vaizel look in terms of the Elyos community? I would hope that when server transfers do happen (if they happen), that some of their legions will transfer to Triniel. As it stands, it's back to square one for the Elyos on Triniel with the "Omg now we are getting owned again by Asmos, QQ." when just a few days ago people were actually HOPING the Asmos would take Sulfur so they can complete their Campaign quests there...
Honestly, who waits till their mid 40's to finish a level 25 campaign quest that's easy as hell to do (saving the Elyos captives one)...
If nothing improves, I'm taking the first ticket off this rock.

Kinda agree with both of you. Being a SM myself in dredgion we are OP but that is if your in a good premade group, it's not hard to shutdown a SM and usually once I get someone like a sin on me it's like 3 secs literally till I drop. Need full miragents tbh! =o

Plus why were you front line 50% of the time? your squad consisted of random people it seems vs a Haven premade. I have to be on the front lines considering that its only has 15m range. If I miss the cleric then its pretty much a waste since he can spam cleanse them with a dispel that is only 0.5 cast time.
All of my groups are premades so we're able to communicate in vent. At 2:05 I'm with the best Cleric on the server. No one takes templars to dred because glads and sins are better so bodyguard is almost never available. At 1:48 I did have bodyguard. It literally only takes a good sin or ranger 3 secs to kill you. It doesn't matter if I'm in the back or front. Ambush teleports them to me and stuns me so the fight is already over. Even if fear is close to going off, Rangers can Focus Evasion it, Sins can Aethertwist or Focus Evasion it, or anyone can just glide and they won't get feared. Most clerics are smart enough to stay back very far from the rest of the group so they can just run in and cleanse their feared teammates. Once you start fighting geared out teams, dredgion becomes about who can focus fire the fastest not about CC anymore. I was with one geared out team and the strat was simply kill whoever has the arrow marked on their head. Whoever got marked by the arrow usually died before my silence went off and its a 1 sec cast.
If anything is OP in Dred it's sleep storm. That area around the target is the OP part. You can stand wherever you want but you will get hit by it. The sorc doesn't even have to get in casting range to hit you with it. All they have to do is target the tank in their own group and it the 12m area of sleep storm will get the other team. It doesn't matter if it breaks on damage when people can burst down players in a few seconds. You also don't have to worry about having to chase them all around the room and kill the mobs they aggro.
There is no reason an SM should be able to get off fear against a good team(includes a scout class) unless they are hit by sleep storm(something that has a far bigger range).
And I think Rangers need a slight damage nerf.

Alright, so how many of you guys are in Triniel? Asmodian or Elyos, doesn't matter. Would be nice to know of any SRF'ers on there. I already know Azi is there. If there are any Elyos there that are on the Triniel server, my character is Allana in the Nex Legio legion. Feel free to hit me up for group stuff, pvp, Steel Rake lower, whatever. =] And holy shit, that was some pretty badass fight there at Western Shard tonight.

You can make some pretty damn good looking characters on both factions, really. The only real difference is basically skin tone variants where the Elyos have more natural skin tones of white to reddish brown, and Asmodians are pale blue to even green. Additionally, Asmodian characters have claws for hands and feet -- although it is more pronounced on male Asmodian characters, and glowing red eyes in combat. Plus they run funny too, they lean forward a lot and have some weird arm swing animation when looked at from behind. For what it's worth though, I believe that you really get the full experience of the game playing both sides; so as soon as I can get my Elyos Cleric to 50, I'll start focusing on leveling my Asmodian character in the Azphel server. To be fair though, I do enjoy the looks of Asmodae lands compared to the Elyos ones. Poeta and Verteron look really nice on the Elyos side, then afterward its a total let-down with constant desert or Balaur landscape. Theobomo's doesn't look all that great either, being an almost 100% desert with a dried-up "used-to-be-a-nice-beach-but-now-its-not-anymore" area down south. Theobomos in a nutshell. For whatever lush paradise Elysea is supposed to be, I find Asmodae looking a lot nicer =/
