The German does too. Seems that the translating ppl make the wrong english and typos right while translating it. The ingame help in foreign languages will probably be better than the current english one :roll:

This just raises more concerns...golds bots are still over crowding the game (4 years and still going)..making tons of money off of Joymax (supposedly) by selling gold to players and Joymax's main concern is phishing sites? Does anyone here still thinks that Joymaxs doesn't own the gold bots themselves or have some kind of financial affiliation with them?

Considering even China is having trouble cracking down on goldsellers, JM can't do much. They're not based in the USA where we have strict laws about personal property and copyright.

Have you bothered into looking how gold-farming operations are done. Not only are they in China, a country well known for it's knock-offs and lax copyright laws, but it's a place where finding people to work and monitor a few computers and transactions are easy. The Chinese government recently declared a ban on gold-farming due to the bad name + loss of taxable income. We see how well that's going.

Ans how is gold selling costing them millions again? Last I checked, they are still getting a hefty profit. The gold sellers aren't stopping their customers, if anything it's promoting the game. Here's a game where if you got money or no life, you could easily hit it big. Just buy some gold, bot to cap, than fill yourself with the best items. If anything, the ease of getting large amounts of gold on this game and the traffic + account numbers they generate = more money for JM through Prem + publicity. JM can declare with proof that they have over x million subscribers, they just don't have to say 90% of those accounts are made in china and are afk gold farming 24/7 365.

Honestly, I highly doubt that most of the gold bots are even Chinese based anymore. If you've been in multiple guilds like I did when I played, you'd notice that it seems like almost every guild leader or some one "important" was running gold bots for their guild/union. It wouldn't even surprise me if they were based in America, Egypt, Germany, and Turkey based on several people that I knew who were gold botting and selling to Gold Companies.

It's a dirty, poorly moderated game. If they fixed their unique account creation, reduced # of servers, bot banned like hell each week, and lowered the exp per level + increased the exp per kill, this game would be cleaned up.

What is it that you are not getting here? seems your at a lost. You asked how is JM losing millions...check the price for gold and check how many servers are there..and how many gold buying transactions takes place per day and times that by 4+ years.....If joymax is gonna create a stink when a single person does a charge back then why don't they try their best to stop this million dollar black market that is robbing them "IN PLAIN SIGHT"? Isn't it obvious by now through logic that Joymax has some financial gain from having gold bots in the game? I mean com'on man..its been 4+ years of the same crap..

Well, JM doesn't want to legally sell gold themselves since it would mean they would admit to having/promoting the inflated economy and easy to horde gold and pwn, resulting in a loss of any potential new gamers. Who would want to play a game where it's advertised, want to buy more gold, buy from us if you want to win. Only a few hard-core rich players would be able to afford it. JM instead allows gold botters since like any big game, forums and other means of communication will spread the news about ways to get stronger in the game. It attracts much more newer players, both rich and poor. That is how a F2P game is able to survive. It relies on rich players who are willing to spend lots to make up for the free-bies. By doing this, they are allowing the usual back-alley rumors to spread and promote their game as one where money rules, attracting players that are able to be hooked to this game, than end up with a i must pwn all mentality and are willing to spend more. Why else do you think turks get such good treatment from JM. Other games where moderators are on, if that many stupid kids are spamming fack mather all the time, their ass would get banned, not a new server made for them. In short, it's not robbing since JM never planned to sell gold in the beginning.

JM would need to ALLOW their GM to moderate their games in order for them to start controlling the botting situation, but quite a large team to FULLY prevent all botters. It takes a few people to mark and ban, but a lot to create a program and daily checks of each server. There's over 35 servers now. It would take an average about 3-6 hours per server just running the common paths from each town. Not an easy a job to do manually, and their automated system sucks atm.

(1) - What is it that you call the magic POP then? Obviously Joymax already crossed that line. And I agree with you to some extent. They probably wont go as far as to announce the sales of gold. But they did the next best thing. Which is magic POP.

(2) - Whether they intend to sell gold or not it still "seems" that Joymax is getting robed. You cant sit there and not call it a robbing when you know how gold sellers are making their profits. Gold sellers didn't make the game. Its not theirs..they are leeching off of Joymax creation and has been doing so for years..Thats definitely thieving.. But in reality its not because of reasons I've already pointed out. Joymax is benefiting
