The guy in Ostagar has one (the blacksmith) and the guy in your party camp. Those are the two I know for sure. Also I think the random trader you meet has one.

Wait... WARRIOR Archer ?!
Well maybe if you mix it with some sword skills but a pure warrior archer = doom
Archers are seriously the weakest ones :(
But if you really want to play archer without pain, make a rogue archer and download this http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=216 (the builds that guy posted are also very good)

Never know if you don't try ;) Dual Wield seems cool enough, and you can always have a rogue in your party

what i meant by that is, you could have your party filled with more useful classes, having 2 warriors and a rouge seems somewhat inefficient to me now.

Huh ?

S/S - Tank
DW Warrior - High Phy AoE
Rogue - Traps/locks/stealth and good dmg on one targer
Mage - Rule everything

And personally if i bring more than 1 mage the game get's a ton more easier.

EDIT: I also always get 2 more bags =\ Its enough for me

Yep Warrior Archer, and it's doing just fine.

Whatever suits you best, but i still wouldn't play that kind of character without a patch or hotfix.

But dude, you're missing out on all the archery skills.

At least use a crossbow if your strength is up enough.

Um warriors have archer talents if i remember correctly.
But you should be escaping close combat, thats why rogue is a better option mostly.

Dual Weapon, 2 Hander, and Sword & Shield, plus the warrior tree itself.

Who says I'm doing close combat?

Edit: Skills for Archery for rogue/warrior are exactly the same, so what does it matter besides other skills?

Huh I guess I ignored it so much I forgot it was there.

Oh well.

Edit: Here's the kind of damage we're talking about with a dual wield Berserker.

And when did i say you freaking do ?
Warriors benefit more from close combat, while as a rogue you can escape agro and do crit strikes if you are in stealth.

I have decided to create the rogue. Only difference so far for me is the fact that I can pick locks now lol. Big enough difference that I'm still playing the rogue and not the warrior.

16.

Only thing I've seen that comes close is mage spells. Since I leveled the damage is up to like 40 something/35-40 something per hit. So that makes out about 80 damage plus whatever extras from runes every second with Dual Swings and Momentum.

Dropping Revenants in like 15 seconds.

I wonder how much would i do with longsword

Just seen the whole trick where you +3 a stat, reset, lower it to have 6 to spend every level, that would be very useful.

Edit: Quick question, what's max for a stat? I've seen class guides that say to "max" a stat, yet nowhere have I seen what's max.

My city elf female has slept with Zev, but no matter what, I can't seem to get her to get past a kiss with Leliana, is it not possible? D;

I had her at +100 (also using a fem char) when I done redcliffe (saving that boy), finished her personal quest and I still couldn't kiss or what ever. After I did the Dalish quest we talked she started singing and from there on it started rolling =p

wut?

edit:
Dragon Age: Origins Cheat: Infinite Attributes Glitch

This has only been tested on the original release. A "sacrificial" stat is required -- one you don't need (for a Mage that would be Strength; for a Warrior or Rogue, Magic works). Head to the level up screen and put all of your points into the sacrificial stat. Click Next, then click Previous and then hit Reset. Manually remove the points to the sacrificial stat. You should now have 6 points rather then the 3 you put in. Choose Next a few times and then choose Play to save the changes made. Repeat this process. When the stat turns negative the game will regard it as 0 but you will still be getting points for it. However, in order to bring the stat back up you must put the amount you took from it back in, which is why the stat is "sacrificial." The most you can put in at a time is 100 points.

just tried it, works pretty good, I don't think i could consider it cheating unless you went -stat.

Are there any patches out there that balance the game... I quit playing a while ago. The game really does suck because of the crazy difficulty. One min the difficulty is fine, the next I'm dying all the time. Maybe it's because I picked an archer. I heard those are underpowered or something.

You can't be serious...
Spoiler!

I won that encounter but barely.

Worst fight ever. As soon as the fight started, there was a high chance that a character ended up in the situation below. No, you can not run away, you can't do anything. As soon as the game unpauses, he pulls some person into that situation and they get focus fired and die before they even stand up. So how did I beat him? I had to resort to a cheap tactic. In the one case where none of my characters got pulled into instant death, I got everyone and ran back towards the start of the area. I had Morgan use Cone of Ice to freeze the boss and die while the rest of us escaped. Only 2 of the spawns followed us to the entrance and I killed them. Next, I made my way back to where Morgan died and she came back to life because we were nearby. I killed the last spawn and finally had the boss by himself. I still barely won.
Spoiler!

It was impossible to keep the tank alive no matter how many health pots I gave him. The boss hits for like 35% of his health per swing so he eventually died. So, I ended up kiting the boss around with whoever he decided to targeted with everyone else just auto attacking until he decides to target them and I threw in the OP Cone of Ice spell every time I had enough MP to use it. There was really no room for error since he 2 hits everyone and they are guaranteed to get hit at least one time when he does that pull skill.
Spoiler!

Because of how OP some of the mobs and skills are, I am forced to play the game like this.
Spoiler!

Not fun at all. It's like they expect you to carry 100 HP pots with you all the time... Oh, and a mage.

It would be ok if it clearly stated that you need a mage to come with you but they give you the pretense that you can choose whoever you want when in reality each encounter has a specific party group in mind(One that probably includes a mage.). Or the fact that you are free to go where you want making it seemed that the upcoming areas would be balanced around your level when they aren't. You're forced to learn the hard way that you're underleveled for a particular boss or area and come back when you're higher level, better geared, or now have some new OP mage skill.

It's really sad how OP mages are in this game. NPC and PC AoE spells needs to be nerfed. Cone of Ice definitely needs a much longer CD. It's a joke that an enemy white mage takes higher priority than an orange boss coming at you. Enemy mages just use chain lightning and use that AoE fire spell and your group is dead before you even half time to engage the boss. Ridiculous.

Ok i will sound like i show off whore, but you seriously should stop being a drama queen DR.
I might be a crazy fangirl and i know the game is not perfect, heck i even had a hard time playing easy. You just need to learn to play ! Now i'm actually on the "this game is easy" side. (considering to download the nightmare++ hack)

Yeah Mages are OP in the game, they are OP in the lore thats how they are... Why the hell would they lock them inside a tower ? They can easily destroy the whole kingdom if they wanted.
Play a mage if it's such an issue. (And they did nerf them in 1.2 patch)

Still rogues are the most powerful ones.

I'm willing to help (since i am such a sweetheart) but if you don't want you can ignore me =|

---

Well people i started a "2h warrior solo nightmare" game. So far it goes well i finished up the DLC's and now im half way thought the mage tower. It is a lot harder than soloing it with a rogue or mage, but i only really need to pot a lot when i do some harder bosses (Desire demon b....)

Oh and this dude was my inspiration to start.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uO0pxhROv5U

EDIT: Wrong video, this is the one

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dc7uu7FMbys

But still i plan to do what that girl did in the first video (Templar/Champion), but a slightly different build.
