lol wong you claim he supported neither side yet he felt the need to inject his own views on the 2 emails, He is doing exactly the same as what he accuses the other party of doing,
Notice how when he talks about the scientists he addresses them respectably by there names,
Notice how he addresses the radio hosts? Conspiracy theorists, amateur skeptics, fat mouth, febel nitwits.
Not to mention he puts himself up on a golden horse with his super intelligence to bestow us with
* a more sober analysis of those e-mails and what they mean*

im sorry but in my books that is not a opinion that supported neither side,
if your going to talk down to one group and speak respectively about another, that aint a fair non biased opinion,

This however is probally the fairest piece ive seen on the whole subject
both sides discussing it, and both sides being shown the same level of respect.

and btw the University of East anglia may aswell be britians version of NASA, They hold all the Governmental Contracts for climate research so stop acting as if they have no more power than your average climate researcher at the local university, They are the Heart of the climate research pumping information into the arteries and veins of journals, media and government bodies

Also i Never assumed your opinion was against mine, all my comments were based on what i thought about the guys review of the 2 emails, Its 4am for me and i just let out what i was feeling at the time, it certainly wasn't directed at you, its just what the video bought up for me and thats how i expressed it.
If anything im pissed that i let myself sit here for hours again reading over emails and checking documents from the leaked files sitting here with 20 tabs open and cross referencing everything,
Chill bud there was no intentional anger from me aimed at you :D

Well i was talk more about myself been on both sides, he may have an oppinion but he does offer a chance for others to check up on what he has said infact he wants you to check. Yes that university is a big part of the climate research but its stil only 1, there are many others researching it and some dont use the same data source that they use yet, they stil claim global warming is here.

And its good your checking up on things but make sure you check credible sources many images you post are hosted on imageshack not on an official source by any means suggesting your finding these images from a 3rd party source.

i will watch them videos when i have time so i wont make a comment on that at all at this point

Zen, you honestly believe the world was still within its "little ice age" until about the 1900s? And temperatures should just naturally rocket back up to levels seen in the warming period in the space of like 50 years? If that was a common occurrence you would see a lot of spikes and plateaus in the graphs instead of consistent ups and downs.

Did you ever think how neat of a coincidence it is to note that the industrial revolution happened to occur around the same frame of time?

Reise i think its much more of a coincidence that the employment for Groom of the Stool ended in 1901
If copenhagen passes its treaty the role will reverse and we will be paying them!! to clean up there Crap!!
like i said before,A wet dream of the british empire

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Groom_of_the_Stool

Look at what they are trying to sneak in at copenhagen
http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2 ... anish-text
The UN Copenhagen climate talks are in disarray today after developing countries reacted furiously to leaked documents that show world leaders will next week be asked to sign an agreement that hands more power to rich countries and sidelines the UN's role in all future climate change negotiations.
Not allow poor countries to emit more than 1.44 tonnes of carbon per person by 2050, while allowing rich countries to emit 2.67 tonnes

check the story out, its pretty interesting

So you believe a group of people in 1901 said "HEY. I know what we can do! Lets start to mess with the worldwide temperature data so in 100 years, people will have to start paying ...us?"

Get real.

All the summit shows is bad opportunist politics.

The answers aren't stupid they're just hardly related.

First we're talking about temperatures being screwed with and then you go on about the Copenhagen summit as if it confirms some grand conspiracy with roots back in the turn of the century.

My point since the beginning has been this: You can bring up all the "skewed" data you want, it doesn't change the fact that we ARE polluting the earth. Shit is changing around the world because of it. Something has to be done.

Just so we can come full circle and see just how silly and conspiracy theory the start of the thread is.

I think however it is important to understand that there are people on both sides trying to manipulate things to their advantage a bit. But it comes down to this. Invest in our future to protect the environment and develop alternate energy technology. So we can zip around in solar or fusion powered vehicles. Or save in the short term and keep the status quo so our childrens children will still know what smog is or what a soot spewing chimney or cooling tower looks like.

Taxing CO2 emissions is a short term pain to push for a better future conspiracy theorist be damned.
